Chee nodded and bounded over to Cloudburst's side. Leaving a space between her and Chee so Ayet could stand in the middle. Her ears twitched impatiantly and her spotted fur twitched as she waited patiantly. Her tail hanging in a calm way as she scratched at the grond while she waited.

"I'm ready." Myst pushed himself to his paws and forced a smile. All of this darkness clearly effected each of the wolves' moods, including him. He padded over and stood beside the others, his face was still stinging from the treatment. His fur twitched slightly, he was impatient to get away from the dead demon, its rotting smell hung heavy in the air.

Ayet nodded, and let out a howl, signaling the pack to gather. "We will be making camp a short distance from here; where we can rest and gather our strength. We have another long 'day' of traveling and fighting ahead, and I need all of you to be at your fullest. Demons could be lurking around every tree." He said in a loud voice, making sure everyone heard him. He wasn't planning on getting much sleep tonight, though. He still had to figure out where they would be going first. He liked the idea of a cave though...

Also, I'd like to introduce you all to... Death! I think I got him the way I want him. He doesn't have a definite species; he takes on many different animal's forms. Anyway, since we will be running into him sometime in the future, I decided to draw him

Edito: Trackers and Healers are all full up (Horese_lover, i had to change Timid Dart to being a fighter because of that ^^;). Should I add more ranks, or increase the limits? Or should I just close this, and not accept anymore? ANNNNND a few people have already come to me with plot-twist ideas. We'll be having those evil seeds planted pretty soon. If you think of one, and you want to do it, then message me first so I can okay it. I don't want crazy stuff happening and totally sidetracking us. Ayet might have to bite someone's ear off.... Demon pulled himself to his paws and pushed though the lines of dogs getting ready to go, Delibratly running his tail over Chee making her shiver and step out of his way "I'll deal with you later!" he growled at Chee, raising his eye brow in a flirty way as Chee growled back but looked a little scared of the huge black wolf, she knew how many he had killed. He stopped infront of the Demon bear and snorted. "Its not worth having the name Demon!" he growled taking it personally as he growled in the dead bears face. "Ayet! Why do you waste these mongrels time on killing a cub! I don't know why your the boss around here!" he growled flinging his dangerous fangs around as they bared in Ayet's face.

Anwell looked up at the black wolf. He was a little surprised at his sudden outburst. "Calm down tiger, I'm sure you wouldn't do any better. It's sometimes the best to keep your mouth glued together," He mumbled at Demon, "listen to the leader. He knows what he's doing."
Pawing away Demon's face from Ayet's, he stood quite defensively in front of the Alpha. Anwell lifted his tail the slightest inch, He wasn't a good fighter, and he knew this, but he had to do what he thought was right.
"Step down, or take your leave." The grey wolf said softly, eyeing the black male with caution.

Demon let out a barking laugh, throwing his head into the air. "Its not your place mutt!" the large male growled raising his tail as high as it would go over his back. "Anyway! If the 'alpha' was any kind of respecable leader he wouldn't need a weak strategist protecting him!" the warrior snarled in return. His fangs bared, long and sharp in the sun. "And you would save your life by getting out of my way!" he added, his amber eyes balls of fire.

Chee stood watching. Her legs shaking a tiny bit sending her spotted cheetah like pattern in shimmers of fear. "Demon... Maybe you should let it go..." she shuddered forcing the words from her mouth. "come on... Its not that big of a deal..." she mumbled remembering how Demon wasn't always so Demon like. They use to be friends when she was a pup and him a young wolf. "Shut up Chee!" Demon snapped making her jump back and push her tail under her belly in fear. Her head falling submissively in fear. Demon turned his gaze back to the Strategist.

"I believe you are mistaken. My job is not to be powerful, nor to fight. That is your job, wolf. And if you were as stupid as to kill me, then you'd have no idea where to go or what to do. Now, as I said before, I sincerely ask you to stand down, and take your place among the other fighters," Anwell advised the black wolf, not letting a growl slip past his lips. He wasn't about to shiver, either. Nothing would stop him from protecting Ayet.
"This is our mission, not yours. Or have you not heard the term, 'together'? Oh, it's really not that hard to grasp. And another tricky scentence for your amusement; there is no 'I' in 'team." Anwell added to his warns.

Ayet, not about to be shown up by Demon, growled right back, his tail going out straight, a slight upwards kink in the end to show dominance. "Perhaps I should refresh your memory." He challenged, his fur rigid as he stood, fangs barred. Eyes narrowed as they glared harshly at the male, and he moved to stand next to Anwell, instead of behind him. "You are not alpha, because you are weak. Being Alpha does not mean you are the strongest, or the most aggressive. It means you are wise, brave, and cunning. And most of all, you are loyal to the Lord Sun, and unwavering in your beliefs." He paused for a minute, and added in a lower voice so Demon and the wolves closest to them could only hear. His eyes narrowed, and he thought of the black wolf's past; how the darkness had made the wolf himself darker too. "Something you know nothing about."

Anwell glanced at Ayet, but took his gaze back to Demon with a hint of intimidation.
Also remembering how Demon had changed, the wolf studied the other's angered face. He shrivelled his nose a little at the sight of Demon's bared teeth, but took a deep breath. He didn't dare intrude on the conversation, but what Ayet said was true. If he was on our side, he would trust Ayet's discisions and stay loyal to our Lord Sun... Anwell thought, narrowing his eyes.

Demon laughed and bared his fangs quickly. He felt Chee shuffle uncomfortably behind her so he stepped back, stepping over her crouched, cowering body. "A leader cannot be a leader if he is not strong enough to hold his position! Or protect his pack!" Demon growled lowly then lowered his head. His jaws reaching around the small wolf dog at his paws neck then tightened his grip around Chee's neck. Chee let out a small wail of pain as he bit down harder.
"d-don't!" she squealed in pain as he bit tighter.
