Lionstar looked calmly at Wolfheart, ignoring Bearstar.

"I have seen your distress, young warrior. I have come to see if you would like to join my clan, instead of having to watch your love have kits with someone else. Who knows, perhaps you will fall in love again?..." he hinted, winking devilishly at Wolfheart with his honey-colored eyes.

*bearstar growled* how dare you! Wolfheart is one of my best warriors and closest friends! Of course she wouldn't want to come with you!

SHADOW-STRIDE: I slip through the Shadowed-Clan's territory. Star-Eyes and Blue-Moon are following me. Four cats leap through the trees on either side of us. To others are on the ground, slipping through the shadows. This is the standard Patrol. We are Tribe warriors.

Lionstar flicked his ear, the only sign of his frustration.

"I did not ask you. Do not interfere with the will of StarClan." he said, a hint of venom in his voice. He turned his handsome face back towards Wolfheart, waiting patiently for an answer.

Wolfheart stared at Lionstar for a moment and looked back at Bearstar. "I-," she paused, remembering that she had never seen this tom, "have no idea." Her pale green eyes flickered back towards Lionstar, carefully studying him. Then, she heard his offer. Everything stopped, even time and she thought as her heart thumped heavily. "I- I'm not sure if I can leave. My friends are here and I can't let them down. You seem very kind and generous to give me such an offer but..." she trailed off and she looked down, tears rolling down her cheeks. This tom seemed very handsome according to her and she started to feel drawn towards him but she wasn't sure. Wolfheart wanted to love again, but she wasn't sure if she could do it at such a price.

SHADOW-STRIDE: I follow Moon-Gaze's scent to a cluster of scents. They took her, the Shadowed-Clan. I flick my tail and the cats fan out getting to high ground. I leap into the trees, following Moon-Gaze's scent. I see a broken branch and follow it's path to the ground. She landed in the thick of them.

BLUE-MOON: I wander around with Star-Eyes.

"I understand. Well, know that RiverClan is waiting just outside the borders." he said, getting up to pad back into the forest. He was about to dissapear, but he thought better of it. He turned to look back over his shoulder.

"Hold your head up high, Wolfheart. I, too, was once lost and alone. I had fallen off my way of life. I found it again. Know that there is someone out there who loves you. I will protect you." he said, dipping his head to Bearstar.

"Oh, and Bearstar? It is me, Lionroar." he said, before turning and padding quickly into the forest.

SHADOW-STRIDE: I watch the camp from a tree, searching it for Moon-Gaze.
