Sample of Writing: Mandy glanced up her bright blue eyes surveyed the grassland. As she stared a flash of brown caught her eye. Something was coming towards her. Mandy’s muscles twitched with the urgency to run but she held them still with her mind. As her heart pounded faster her ears flicked. The noise was like a thrashing of brittle grass. Mandy was greatly confused by this, nothing had ever sounded like this.
Suddenly a strange creature slammed into her side. Mandy withered under the creature’s great mass. Her long lean legs thrashed around as she broke into a cold sweat. Her mind was whirling wildly as she struggled to dislodge this strange thing on her. When she finally succeeded she stared at this enemy. It look like a large cheetah but with thicker spots. Mandy only had an instant to stare before she tore off across the grassland. Her only motive was to get away.

His heart banged at the mention of freedom but he didn't trust Reaper and if Fable took the deal he wouldn't trust Fable either. He shifted to his human form and walked to Fables side. "Don't take the deal. You don't know if this item he speaks of even exists, he could just want to get rid of Cera." Silently he added, "I refuse to follow one crazy person following another insane person."

She was good at identifying other Phoenix's, something she had grown at in skill over the years, the blonde was a Phoenix.

Sample of Writing: Cheyenne nodded, feeling her feet touch the hot sand. She watched him lay out the towel and then sat beside him, feeling his arms wrap around her. She wrapped her arms around him and rested her head against his shoulder. She looked out into the rolling ocean as the waves danced in the sunlight, her blue eyes glistening in the sunlight. "I'm real glad that I came here and especially happy to have met you." She said, looking up at Lab, her eyes happy as she took in his beautiful red eyes, his black hair, slightly tanned skin and his strong arms that wrapped around her. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have met someone to kind and caring, to care about her for her and not her looks or for being new to the area.
Soon her phone rang, disrupting the tranquility of sitting there with Lab. "Sorry." She said as she pulled away from his to rummage through her bag until she found her ringing phone. "Hello?" She answered, hearing her mother's barrating voice on the other line. She ran a hand over her pulled up hair, not wanting to talk to her mom. Are you alright?! Where are you? Her mother demanded. "Yes, I'm alright and I have a place to stay." She replied, wanting to hang up right then and there. You are coming home! Her mother demanded, Cheyenne shaking her head. "No, I'm plenty old enough to be on my own." She said sharply, forgetting Lab was there. I don't care how old you are, your Aunt was murdered! You are coming home right now. Her mother yelled loudly through the phone. "I'm not coming home and that's finally. Bye mom." She said, hanging up as she put her head in her hands. Why won't my mom let me grow up? She thought as she sighed and closed her eyes.

As the sunlight poked through the curtains of the living room, I opened my grey eyes and yawned. After a few minutes, I sat up and stretched a bit, feeling sore from yesterday and the day before.. I then laid down on my stomach, lazily, stuffing my head into a pillow as I groaned tiredly. I would happily accept the opportunity to sleep all day, if I had it. But I was the leader and I had things to do. I had healed a bit throughout the night, so I could probably hunt now. I was feeling a little hungry at the thought of food, and I turned my head to inhale silently. Maybe there was something in the freezer..
