WaterClan
Rainstar padded back, empty-pawed. "Hope you're willing to share," she meowed, entering Stonefur's line of sight. "Couldn't find anything. I figured we didn't have enough time for me to keep looking, so I just came back here." The gray-furred she-cat sat down with a sigh.

Silverleaf started for the lake, Dawnsinger at her side. "Don't worry," she said, trying to comfort her friend. "He'll be back soon. And I won't tell a soul," she added.

IceClan
Nightfall collapsed ungracefully on the ground to nurse his wounded leg. He shook his head at Leopardfur's nervous words. It wasn't her fault any of this had happened. He had just managed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Flamedancer still hadn't said anything, so when Leopardfur asked the SunClan warriors name, Nightfall supplied it. "Flamedancer," he said simply, afraid to open his mouth any more than was necessary.

SunClan
Brightpaw licked the kit, doing as her mentor had taught. She happened to glance over at Petalsong. Oops! She had forgotten the poppy seed! The cream she-kit under her tongue seemed awake, so the apprentice almost threw the seed at Petalsong, landing it near the queen's head.

Petalsong looked up in surprise and saw the poppy seed land a few mouse-lengths from her face. She licked it up gratefully and closed her eyes again, focusing on the ripples that were running through her body.

DarkClan
Hopeflight was doing her best to trick her own brain so Icestar wouldn't detect anything. She wandered down near the SunClan border, telling herself prey would be better near sunlight. She made quite a show of catching a squirrel and then a small rabbit. Hmm... she thought. I should gather some berries to go with this prey. A cat needs all the nutrition it can get with Icestar's kind of lifestyle. Hopeflight purred happily as she approached the nearest berry bush, feeling for Icestar's presence in her mind. Nothing. She set up a mental barrier of focused thoughts to keep Icestar out while she poisoned the food.

WaterClan
Dawnsinger called over her shoulder to her mate's receding back, "Good luck!" Stormcall acknowledged her bidding (For lack of better word.) with a flick of his tail before disappearing into a clump of heather. She barely supressed a sigh as well as the hope budding within her chest as she and Silverleaf began their steady descent down to the lake. She silently berated herself for being so nervous when her friend had intervened, and for causing the pressing, awkward silence. The WaterClan she-cat opened her mouth to say something, but her words were snatched away forgetfully. The uncomfortable wordlessness suffocated Dawnsinger, but there was no need as she couldn't conjure any words already. She bit her lip and resented the growing reticence. Things (Not to mention words) used to be so easy and friendly between her and Silverleaf! How had they come to this, being so far apart despite the considerably small distance between them. Had the other she-cat's brother being her mate created a previously unknown rift between them? Had the fact that Stormcall chosen her first widened that rift? Dawnsinger didn't know, but a cold sense of foreboding encased her heart and shivered down her spine anyway. The tension suddenly melted away when Silverleaf murmured, "Don't worry, he'll be back soon. I won't tell a soul." Slightly suprised, she blinked gratefully in return and hoped that action said everything she was unable to.

SunClan
Flamedancer's skin crawled and blazed like a flame underneath her already fiery pelt. Why had she raced to help, even though she had arrived too late and didn't help anything? Because she was a fool and was overwhelmed by a strange but demanding instinct? That was true, but unlikely. Who would believe it other than herself? She remembered she had been asked a question and hastily started to mew her name before being interrupted by Nightfall. She blinked in surprise that the handsome warrior knew her by name and added in a softer voice, "Of SunClan." This may have been rather redundant as her Clan's scent probably gave her away but it seemed neccessary nonetheless. Flamedancer shifted her paws nervously, squirming uncomfortably under the IceClan she-cat's unhostile but pinning gaze and felt she had to avert her own eyes.

LeafClan
Stormpaw nodded but didn't say anything, her dark blue gaze lowered carefully so her mentor wouldn't see the mixed emotions blazing within their depths. She padded quietly behind Heathersong after she had turned back around and only looked up when they were entering the SunClan camp through the sparse tunnel of parched weeds. A few warriors whirled in alarm when their LeafClan scent reached them but immediately calmed down as they saw it was only a medicine cat and her apprentice. Her eyes raked the different dens, wondering which one contained her duty as well as the place Heathersong's vision would take place. Stormpaw's thoughts stopped flitting rapidly about and thankfully settled down to focus on the task ahead.
((My WB still can't seem to take a hint. . . x3 Tink, I was already finished with Flamedancer's and Dawnsinger's posts before you SO RUDELY intervened and posted before I had the chance to do so. JK!))

WaterClan

Stonefur smiled slightly and nodded. "It's okay. I wasn't that hungry. Here." He said, pushing the dead rabbit closer to Rainstar as he licked a paw, running it quickly over his ears and then straightening again. "Do you know where Pinefeather is?" he asked, wondering where the WaterClan medicine cat had wandered off to.

Otterpaw spread the word that they were going to the lake and slowly went out of camp, making sure cats were following. Most weren't coming, but she urged them on, too excited for her spirits to be dampened by cats who weren't willing to come. She glanced around and scented the air, bouncing with excitement. Silverleaf had found Dawnsinger! she glanced around, hoping to find them, but they must have been a little bit away. She called to the two female cats, hoping to catch their attention. "Silverleaf!" she yowled, followed by Dawnsinger's name.

IceClan

Leopardfur cocked her head, wondering how he knew her. Oh well. She didn't ask any more questions as she checked Nightfall's wounds. She wasn't that good at herbs and wounds though, so she chanced asking the SunClan warrior if she knew how to treat wounds. "So er... Flamedancer, do you know how to treat wounds?" she asked, suddenly noticing that she was asking the wrong cat.

Even if Flamedancer did know how, she wouldn't have the normal herbs she was used to. The snowy frozen lake tundra of IceClan had different plants and herbs than the small woodlands of SunClan's territory. She frowned, looking at her paws. "Er, forget I asked..." she said, trailing off. Then she looked back at Nightfall. "I could go get Frostwhisker if you don't think you can walk." she said, annoyed of how anxious-sounding she was, like a mother with her kits. Why did she care for Nightfall so much?

DarkClan

Willowshine slowly stalked the squirrel, making sure that she didn't surprise or frighten it. Paw over paw she slowly crept forward, ready to pounce when she froze, her mind going blank. Her fur raised in fright as she felt Icestar probing, pushing at her mind. She tried to resist, but the leader of DarkClan was trying her hardest. Willowshine suddenly snapped out of it, angry at herself as the squirrel, who had spotted her was starting to run up a tree trunk and onto a branch. No, she wouldn't let herself be beat that easily. Willowshine unsheathed her claws and made a running jump, soaring into the leaves and snagging the squirrel with her claw, flinging it to the ground.

Biting on it's neck, Willowshine placed the now-limp form on the ground, slowly unsheathing her claws as she ate the squirrel quietly, trying to savor every bite. The only problem was that it was hard to enjoy each bite when you knew that there was someone constantly watching you.

LeafClan

Russetfur looked around, in hope to find one of his clanmates. None were really around, but he found that hard to believe, knowing that usually the camp was active and jumping at this time of the day. Going over to the fresh kill pile, he chose one of the smallest pieces of prey from the pile, making sure that he saved the larger ones for the kits and the elders. He wasn't that hungry either, but he knew that he needed to keep his strength up. Looking up from his meal once or twice, still thinking that he'd catch sight of Heathersong with Stormpaw or some cat training, but the camp was empty.

Once he had finished his prey, Russetfur stood up, stretching. It was most likely that the cats were out training or hunting somewhere, but for some reason, Russetfur needed someone to talk to, or felt that he wanted some kind of conversation with another cat. The camp wasn't usually full when there were no kits, elders, or queens, wanting fresh prey or needing help. There weren't any kits to play with, which usually cheered Russetfur up. For the first time in a while, Russetfur noticed how empty the LeafClan camp felt to him.

FireClan
Foxflame trudged onwards with his eyes closed, hoping to shield them from the bright sun that was beating down on their exposed bodies. Suddenly his feet slipped from under him and the ginger tom's eyes flew open to see a huge drop below him.

Nightfire watched in horror as Foxflame slipped, falling towards the cliff edge. She grabbed his tail, yowling as her torn claws throbbed.

Flameheart fluffed up his fur against the humidity and padded toward Bloodstar, who was looking far off into the distance. "Bloodstar?" he asked timidly, no wanting to interrupt the leader, but curious as to what he was doing.

WaterClan
Rainstar gratefully took a bite of the rabbit Stonefur had caught. Her stomach was growling painfully in anticipation of the food. "She's around here somewhere," she meowed between bites. "Pinefeather can probably see us, even though we can't see her."

Silverleaf smiled, hearing her apprentice's excited meow. "Sounds like we have a welcoming committee, Dawnsinger." The gray warrior laughed and ran toward Otterpaw, calling out. "We're here, Otterpaw!"

AirClan
Stormcall trotted back to camp, eager to speak with Swiftstar. If she said he could go to the lake, he would have the whole afternoon with Dawnsinger! And it wouldn't be in secret or anything. There wouldn't be anything to worry about. The dark tom's heart was soaring when he entered camp, scenting Swiftstar inside her den. "Swiftstar?" he asked excitedly, stopping at the entrance of her den. "Can I come in?"

IceClan
Nightfall shook his head and struggled to his feet. He couldn't let Leopardfur know he was badly injured. The easiest way was just to fumble back to camp and let Leopardfur explain. He dipped his head to Flamedancer, who was standing awkwardly. "Bye. Thanks," he said softly before turning in the direction of IceClan camp.

SunClan
Brightpaw's eyes widened as the LeafClan cats entered the nursery. It was the legendary Heathersong, and her apprentice, Stormpaw! She glanced at Flowerface, wondering what to do.

Petalsong closed her eyes and prepared to push the third kit out, but a familiar scent flooded her nose. "Heathersong?" she whispered, opening her eyes tentatively.

LeafClan
Heathersong smiled at the queen in front of her. "Petalsong." She dipped her head to Flowerface. "Don't mind us," she said quietly. "I'll explain later." The medicine cat nudged Stormpaw toward the den entrance, trying to stay out of the way.

DarkClan
Icestar shook her head and stood up. Finishing the last bites of the prey, she decided she had better get a little excersize. It will get my mind off things past.

Hopeflight padded back to Icestar and the rest of DarkClan, the prey dangling from her mouth and a murderous look in her eyes. She would get Icestar this time; StarClan had said she could defeat the evil she-cat, so why not now?

WaterClan

Otterpaw heard Silverleaf's call and looked around, suddenly spotting her mentor. "Yay! Silverleaf!" she said, running in circles around the warrior. "The other cats are coming." she said, proud that she had done what her mentor had wanted her to. Then she looked behind Silverleaf. "I thought that I scented Dawnsinger... Is she with you?" she asked, curious about where the female cat had been.

Stonefur nodded. "You're probably right, but she probably should come back soon if we want to get to (Is it EarthClan or RockClan?) and back before sundown." he said, glancing around as if he would catch sight of Pinefeather at any moment.

IceClan

Leopardfur was still wary about Nightfall's wounds as she walked with him back to camp, not wanting the warrior to hurt himself even more, just to not make Leopardfur any more worried. She wondered if Flamedancer would go back to her territory. It'd be good if she did, so that no patrol caught her on their territory. Leopardfur was okay with the female SunClan warrior, and she didn't want her to get caught, but Leopardfur didn't want to get caught either if Flamedancer told who had let her go freely. It was an annoying concept, and Leopardfur wished that she could just shake her head and it'd tumble out of her thoughts, not bothering her any more. For one last time she asked Nightfall if he could manage again. "Nightfall, are you sure that you can walk the rest of the way back to camp on your own?" she asked.

DarkClan

Willowshine caught a rabbit after that and carried it back to camp, thinking of giving it to a cat that may have had no luck hunting. She was still confused about why they were going to SunClan though. She didn't want to attack them, having no real grudges against them. It was like attacking was all Icestar had planned for them. Sighing, she padded quietly into camp, placing the rabbit in the small fresh kill pile, and then sitting down over near the side of the camp, suddenly noticing Hopeflight come into the DarkClan camp.

Something was wrong though. The young used-to-be LeafClan warrior didn't look like herself. What was she planning? Willowshine frowned, staring hard at Hopeflight. It seemed that she was heading towards Icestar's den. Suddenly, a thought popped into her head. Was she going to give the prey to Icestar? Maybe she was hoping to please her, because not that many cats brought Icestar food unless... What did Hopeflight do to the prey? Willowshine asked herself, thinking hard.

Iceclan
Frostwhisker purred as she watched the sun start to set. The reds, pinks, and oranges blended together and reflected off the ice. The snow glittered and the breeze blew the pungeant scent of the pines and spruce across the frozen territory. Frostwhisker inhaled it deeply, allowing Iceclan's beautiful territory soak into her body. Her eyes automatically closed. Then they snapped opened again, but they were not their usual amber color. They were ice blue. She stood up, her long, silky tail sweeping the powdery snow as she pivoted and padded to the medicine cat's den.
I see. Nightfall is badly injured, huh? she muttered to no one in particular.
But she was talking to someone. She was talking to Starclan.

Rockclan
Graystone solemnly sorted through herbs, his head not really focused on it at all. His thoughts were only of his mentor, who had been murdered by a cold-blooded tom all those years ago.

RockClan
Islandsong purred in amusement as she pounced on a leaf,"You always seem so serious and never seem to have fun." She released the leaf and watched as it swirled and dipped in the wind.

FireClan
Mudpaw gasped seeing his mentor and quickly grabbed Nightfires tail so she wouldn't fall if she lost her grip. He felt scared that his mentor might fall to his death here and Mudpaw found himself digging his claws in hard to keep from moving.

LeafClan
Shiningmist looked at Leopardpaw,"Do you want to go to camp or hunt first?"

Leafclan
Leopardpaw shrugged.
"I think we should hunt, just to bring something back with us."

LeafClan
Shiningmist purred proudly,"Alright. You hunt by the large oak and I'll head this way. I'll meet you at camp alittle after noonhigh." She turned padding into the undergrowth.

((Writer's Block. . . And my sister sitting next to me and prattling on about a daydream she had earlier isn't exactly helping.))
FireClan
Bloodgaze attempted to struggle back to his thrashing body in the present which was being chilled by the frigid ice and snow he was writhing against in his effort to break free. How suitable. Trying to escape Ice's harsh, bitterly dominant hold on him. Yet another memory overcame him, but this time it was different. This time he was determined to wrestle free from the recollections' suffocating grasp. Iceheart's eyes gleamed with desperation and sorrow, and they seemed oddly different with their usual, recently adopted cruel glint. But it still remained lurking within their icy depths. The white tom spat, his unsheathed claws ripping up the ground. If he could see himself, it woud likely be a. . . strange sight to watch the leader of FireClan having a fit upon the ground, struggling against some unknown force. Bloodgaze's control withered, and his pride collapsed into itself. He fixed his broken crimson eyes on his paws and in a trembling motion, he parted his jaws to mutter his surrender but a blaze of emotions mainly consisting of rage, rebellion, and a few suprising others tainted by reluctance flared up in his chest. His fur bristling with the many thoughts racing through his mind and burning across his heart, Bloodgaze wrenched himself away from Iceheart's tempting proposition as well as his half sister herself. "I will never join you!" he yowled, yet his eyes still glittered with pain. Bloodstar finally escaped the memory and realized he had yowled the last words aloud. He said nothing and quietly awaited Flameheart's reaction, slightly curious as to what it would be.
((Ack! She is kicking me off the computer; I'll post for my other charries when I can. Fail post. . . Stupid depression.))
