Shard looks up as Ice enters the camp and nods back to her.

Nikie sighed. She missed her former mate dearly. She looked at Shard, she smiled. She met him just a week before Cole was born, and he had been by her side ever since. She intertwined her tail with Shard's. It was about time she told him about her feelings. She rubbed her head against Shard's neck. "Why?" She asked simply.

Comet picked a small deer from the pile and dragged it over to Ice.

Ice blinked at comet bringing her the deer, but nodded her thanks
