" TELL HER THAT I WAS HUNTING< A CAVE PACK WOLF TOOK THE RABBIT, THEN RETURNED IT?!?!" she snarled, advaning towards him with murder in her eyes. " OR THAT YOU NEARLY ATTACKED SAID WOLF BECAUSE YOU "THOUGHT" HE CROSED THE BORDER, AND ALMOST BEGAN A FIGHT? OR THAT I STEPPED IN AND STOPPED IT? WHERE WAS I IN THE WRONG HERE COMET, BECUSE I CAN'T SEE IT" she shrieked, now nose to nose with him and ready to pounce

Nikie nosed the pile until she found a plump rabbit. "Wanna share?" she asked tugging at the rabbit.

"Sure." Shard said, trying to sound nonchalant. He sat down next to Nikie.


Echo looked around camp. Where was Jaybird? Hopefully, he was out hunting. The prey-pile was getting low.

Jaybird trotted back into camp a new if slightly small looking rabbit .

Oh, there's Jaybird now. Good. Small rabbit though. Echo padded over to Jaybird. 'That's the best you could do?" She asks.

Comet stared at her. "He crossed the border, and you have crossed the border. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't report to Nikie." His voice was calm and his eyes showed no fear for the smaller she-wolf, only loyalty to Nikie and seriousness.

Nikie smiled and laid down beside Shard and nibbled at the rabbit.

Echo looked at Jay curiously. "What happened?"

"Ran into that Comet dude from across the border ."he said rolling his eyes "Totally went freakco on me ."

" it was nothing comet. I was hunting the rabbit, and it ran into him. He recognized it as my prey, and returned to our side. You comptetlt over reacted, and I only crossed the border to make sure you did not do anything rash. I would never hurt my pack comet" Ice said, regaling control of her temper

"Comet." Echo growled. Thinking about LightningPack brought up bad memories from the unsuccessful gathering last night. "Wait, how did you run into him?"
