((I'm warning you, this is really long. But there's a lot of information in here so take the time to read it and make sure you get all the facts straight. The non-talking parts are in red.))
Soul smiled when the leash was fully gathered beneath him, he truly loved each and every fox that was there. "My friends," he started, his voice ringing across the clearing, "I have much, much news to bear you this evening. I wish that I could tell you that this is the worst it's going to get, with the wolves this morning, and Creo later on... But Zargon will stop at nothing to spread his evil and his demons, and I can't shake off the feeling that it's going to get much worse before it gets better. Firstly, as many of you might have noticed, Copper and Sadira were out together throughout most of the day, and I have to sadly inform you that Sadira left. Yes, she just pricked her ears up as though she heard something, kissed Copper a goodbye, turned tail and vanished. He looked for her relentlessly, and I'm sure that the warrior patrol would have scented something if she was near. It breaks my heart to lose her..." He trailed off, shaking his head sadly before continuing, "Next, I would like to inform you that Creo is dead. Luckily, the only big injury is the one on my shoulder: our leash holds the best warriors of the forest, be proud of yourselves. Creo's eyes were swimming with demons, and he was truly and honestly possessed by Zargon. Although it was nececessary to kill him, it is still hard on the leash to lose a strong and powerful warrior. From the evils of the monster, comes hope though. As you can see, I have welcomed Flare back into the leash. He was manipulated by Creo, and he is not who his brother was. Be sympathetic of what he has been through." Soul dipped his head to the apprentice and glanced around the clearing, letting the meaning of his words sink in before he took a deep breath and spoke again, "Third, I've noticed you all eyeing the newcomer sitting here. His name is Heron and he will be staying with us as long as he likes, and will be sharing his story with Ryuu, Leaf Fall, and myself later tonight. He is wise in the ways of the world, and I expect the utmost respect towards him, regardless of his appearances." Soul looked at his leash seriously for as long as he could, before breaking out into a grin and giving a small bark in delight. Standing up on his stump, his eyes twinkling he said, "Excuse my excitement, but Jupiter has found the first key! We will all sleep well tonight, for when she places the ruby key into the Ancient Rock, we'll hear part of Kinari's song! Now is the time for rest," he said to the foxes, "Tomorrow morning, I'll organize patrols and we will feast and celebrate tomorrow evening! I expect everyone in their dens except for Jupiter, Ryuu, Leaf Fall, Heron, Shiko, and myself. We'll place the key in the rock when you're all in your dens, so get moving! Sweet dreams my brothers and sisters..." Soul jumped down from the stump and waited for everyone to get to where they were suppossed to be. His eyes shone and he began to weave through the foxes as they went to their dens, exchanging a few words with them as they settled down for the night.
