Baned for using colors

On one dark night, similar to this one, Dante was strolling the streets, searching for candy. When went up to a house for candy, he knocked on the door. Once, the door did not open. Twice, the door did not open. Thrice, the door eerily crept open with no one their, and Dante crept inside.

When he stalked into the house, he looked around when all of a sudden the door slammed behind him. When he turned around, he only saw a blank wall with no door in sight. He slowly went further into the house and then all of a sudden red stained his vision and then everything went black. when he awoke the world was shaded in red, and even in the darkest of nights he could see. He found out that the only way to turn back was to receive 100 treats before all hallows eve. Will you help him.
