Cara pulled Jasper close to her in a hug, inhaling his familiar scent. "I love you so much," she whispered. "Don't ever leave me." They were in their room, just spending time together.

Jasper smiled, and hugged her back. "It's okay, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." He said, and kissed her.

"Mm, good," she murmured just before their lips touched. One hand rested on his cheek while the other stayed on his chest.

Just then, one of the maids ran in, her face ashen. "Excuse me Your Highnesses," she said, curtsying hurriedly, "but it's important. There's a mob outside."

Jasper kissed her, but pulled back to look at the maid. "Hey, none of that curtsy stuff. I'm nor more special than you." He said, and nodded. "I'll go in a few seconds." He said, and kissed Cara. "I'll be back." He told her, and followed the maid.

Cara sighed and nodded, looking into his eyes. "Be safe," she said, then watched him go.

The maid led him to the entrance. "Should we call in the guards, Your Highness?" she asked, gesturing to the angry mob outside the gates.
