SpookKit had carefully made a pile of stems stripped of their leaves. His sightless eyes gazed into nothingness as he did his task.

Wildheart padded up to Spookkit. "What's that?"

"Leaf stems," He mews facing her.

Rosekit mewed as Dappleshade licked her, but gently she fell asleep.

Shockpaw yawns and pads to the apprentice den,"Sleep will do me good."

SpookKit sighs. "It's the only thing I can do around here," He mutters bitterly.

Shockpaw tossed and turned, but couldn't sleep,"Uh, Spookkit? Where's Oceanheart?"
