Just refresh at the pound page until the banner pops up, assuming you're not waiting for the timer.

The page is so small that you hardly have to scroll down at all, lol. So you can just keep refreshing until the banner pops up.

Someone a few pages back suggested the Archive page, that's what I would recommend ^^

Any page besides the "your posts" page works.
I usually go to my empty "Pets without a group" page, because that involves the least amount of needed scrolling. :B
