Lucid Dreaming

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had lucid dreaming or knows what it is. Basically, lucid dreaming is when you're 'conciously in control' of your dream or you know that you're having a dream. For example, say you're dreaming and you think "I want to fly over New York in a hanglider," then all of a sudden you're flying over New York in a hanglider. I've had lucid dreams a couple times but I don't really remember what happened. Here's the wikipedia page which gives a good overview on what it actually is:

I just want to write this down before I forget...but I had another lucid dream last night. This time I wasn't controlling what happened but I was aware that I was dreaming. The weird thing is that the first half of the dream had to do with CS. I kept seeing people's usernames and fursonas xD And the second half was just nonsense like most of my dreams. It made no sense and nothing related so I won't even bother trying to explain it

Yeah I know what you mean! It's like "Hmmm I know I'm just dreaming so let me do whatever I want...wonder what's for breakfast when I wake up." xxxDDD

AHH I love lucid dreaming! <3 It happens to me... Whenever I want to, I can make myself have them

I sort of lucid dream all the time...my dreams are odd XD They sort of continue from night to night, and I'm aware that I'm dreaming and usually remember most of it. Sometimes they are very odd, like usual dreams, but there are different locations...like dream places of where I've lived. They don't change, and I could probably map them. I return to places from time to time, and while there are several locations I couldn't place on a map, they're still very familiar to me. I can't always *control* what's going on in my dream, but I can control my own actions. It's fun though, I have to travel to get from place to place, so I spend some time in airports or buses (the trips themselves are usually brief, as if I've fallen asleep inside my own dream lol).

Hard to explain really, but there's the basics XD It wasn't always like that though...the first time I ever had a lucid dream was when I was very young. I was watching a shark jumping out of the ocean and it scared me, and suddenly I realized it didn't have to be ike that so I thought of Flipper, and the next time it jumped it was a dolphin. I had usual dreams for awhile, but now, whether I can control my actions or not (occassionally I'm just taken for a ride, like watching someone else live their lives from behind their eyes) my dreams are *always* very vivid and lifelike...

xDD I never had a lucid dream, or atleast I forgot. I want a lucid dream now.
