Again, there's many. There's even many 'posh' accents.

They're probably referring to the accent commonly heard in British shows (like Doctor Who and Sherlock). I'm not entirely sure but I believe it's one of the London accents that most of the actors in those have. But I have no clue, since I don't watch them :P

Though it is my annoyance when people think there's only one British accent :/
Off the top of my head, I know there's accents like scouse, Newcastle (idk it's nickname), woollyback, the various London accents (like cockney), and let's not forget the Welsh and Scottish and Irish accents, too.

It saddens me that noone understands that there's other accents ;n;
