UGHOMG. I'm a friggin' rule Nazi when it comes to my RP's. If ANYONE tries to break my 'two paragraph+' rule I quote the rules again, thankfully no ones done it twice so I havn't had to kick anyone out. xD
@Shiba, that is seriously rude and immature, I think alot of the time younger people use the term 'Semi-Lit' on their RPs to seem more mature, they most likely don't even know what it means. ._.'
@Kitteh, Ugh, I hate when people do that, or I leave a really good post that's perfect for someone to come in and nobody takes it, they just ignore it and continue talking to themselves; it's happend a couple times to me.
I also hate people who dead-end post. >[ It means I've got to try and bring the situation back so the RP doesn't die, I find myself doing it with increasing regularity. It's not that hard to have characters interact with each other, Lord forbid you have to write just a little bit more!

Hmmm well Kitteh! suggested this to me <3

Human/Fantasy usually. So longs it's not vampires, werewolves and things like that. I enjoy animal RPs too but there are rarely any good ones that don't have to do with wolves and warrior cats.
Sample of writing:
If it's fine, I took this from a dead RP of mine.
The house was still. Nothing but the ceiling fan moving in its slowly spinning motion. A single bed rest in the corner farthest from the door. Atop is lay a large blue lump of fabric, and in it sits the eager little girl known as Max. She sits there, thinking about how different she would be in two weeks. Of course, the process of maturity doesn't hit right when one turns a year older, but soon. She imagined the clothes she'd wear, grinning at the thought, and the way her voice may change. She giggled, breaking the silence. With a long sigh of impatience, Max fell back on her pillow and pulled down the covers just before pulling a part of it up against her chest. "I can't wait to get older. I could be anything I want to be, see everything there is to see," she whispered to herself. Then, a memory came into her head. Words that her father had once said to her when she had caught him talking out the window, directed at no one. "Hmph, talking to myself. A sure sign of genius." Her eyes shut and she took in a deep breath in an attempt to fall asleep.
Max was woken by the sudden appearance of light into the bedroom. Her eyes shut tighter before loosening. The girl shoved away the covers and sat up. When she finally opened her eyes (slow and careful) she found her mother, a hand clutched on one of the curtains. "Uhrmmmmm..." moaned Max. "Mother?" Her eyes started to adjust to the light and she saw her mother, 5 feet tall and pretty skinny. She wore a ragged looking T-shirt and a pair of shorts and fluffy looking pink slippers. She must have just woken up as well. Slightly asleep, Max leaped from her spot to the end of the bed, standing up to see her mother face-to-face. "Mother! Good morning! Did you know my birthday is only 13 days exactly?"
Her mother chuckled. "Yes. In exactly 13 days you," her finger touched the tip of Max's nose, "will be a beautiful nine-year old girl."
"Yes, that's correct. And in twelve months and 13 days I will be two digits!" squealed the excited Max. At least she was sure twelve months would be her tenth birthday. Her math hasn't been the highest. She jumped from her bed. Thump, went her feet to the ground and Max ran out her room, down the hall, and into the kitchen to fix breakfast.
~
"Hello," Max said to the little white rabbit. After she had finished eating and washed her bowl, Max had put on her favorite frilly blue dress and headed for the back garden. The rabbit didn't run, which surprised Max. This was the closest she had been to a rabbit because they always ran from her. She went with a slow and gentle approach, her hand out towards the rabbit. She rubbed her thumb against her middle and index fingers while making cooing noises with her tongue. She felt her mother's eyes on her as she did so. Max took a glance over her shoulder and gave her mother a reassuring smile. But when she had there was no need. Her mother seemed quit...happy to see her with the rabbit. Max turned back to see the rabbit and already made up her mind to pet it. A rabbit with such white fur can never be tick-infested or have the rabies. But it was gone, hopped away behind a large shrub. "Bunny no!" Max shouts as she hurled herself into the shrub. It was too late, she saw. The rabbit was gone.
Behind the shrub there was the stump of an old tree Max remembered her father had chopped for wood. Near the stump was a large, whole that seemed to be completely black inside. This is where you escape me my furry friend... Max thought to herself in disappointment. As she put her weight to her knee to try and get up, the rabbit's head popped up, a chain in its mouth that had a small pocket watch attached to it. It looked just like real gold, she thought. It was her chance. Her eyes narrowed and she flung herself at the rabbit and into the rabbit hole. The last thing she remembered was the feeling of free falling and having the breath knocked out of her as she reached the bottom. But, she felt cold. Not like she was dying but like she was indoors again. She didn't have time to open her eyes and find out because at the moment everything went black.

I kind of wish that the RolePlay forum could be split into 'Semi-Literate' and, well, non-'semi-literate'...I don't really RP much on here anymore due to...not very good experiences with poorly-constructed RPs, but it'd be easier for my lazy pleasure to find the 'Semi-Lit' RPs other than searching through the titles that have 'Semi-Lit' squeezed in there. ^^;

Mods, I often have unequal trades bc I like weeding out my trades folders and I just play/collect for the fun of it c:

I agree ten-fold! That would be an excellent idea! But there aren't
that many Semi-Lit roleplayers, and it still wouldnt stop people from posting RPs that weren't "Semi-Lit." It would probably take extra mods to man it, lovely idea but I doubt it would happen. D;

I know... D; Hey, we can dream, yes? XP
It would definitely make it easier, though...I'm kind of tired of joining good story lines with poor posts, so I'm been looking at 'semi-literate' RPs right now that are just starting(I don't like to join the well-established ones...XD) and a separate forum/section that contained only 'semi-literate' RolePlays would be nice....*fantasizes*

Well Asian, I just started one today, we haven't even posted intros yet if you would like to check it out. The link is at the top of this page.
On the topic of semi-lit forums, I was on a website that had one of those once. It turned out to be an epic fail. There were never any actual roleplays on there because everyone kept posting topics to check and see if they were ready for the semi-lit forums. And then, everyone told them to just post a roleplay and if they did all the people who thought they were semi-lit would shun the newer posters and tell them that they were no where near literate enough, even if the person was more literate than them. It was horrible. Of course, who knows, it might be different on other websites.

Aha, I haven't checked back here in a while as I haven't been on ChickenSmoothie much, as-of-late. ^^'
It'd probably be rather small...EDIT: Excellent~ I'll check it out, thanks!

Oh, that doesn't sound very good. D;
