Chet

The water rushed through the land, its original blanks unseen under the tempest. It cut new lines in the earth, bringing pine needles and leaves into its wake. The turbulence of the flooded river made it almost seem alive as it created eddy after eddy and irregularities due to whatever divets and holes were in the bottom. Chet stepped back, kneading his tongue between his gums. A wolf many times stronger than him could be carried off into the current. Though he wanted to accept what he then assumed was some sort of challenge from Cathal, he had to think realistically.

Chet envisioned himself jumping into the water, his small limbs flailing and his mouth open in one final gasp before he was pulled under for good. The last thing the other wolves would have seen was the ruined soft palate and the gray and missing teeth. His memory would be so drastically different from himself, it would have been as if Chet had never lived at all. He shook his head and stepped back from the river, instead walking along side it.

Every time one of his oversized paws became stuck in the mud, pulling it out produced a squelching sound from the oxygen tight hole suddenly being filled. Within thirty steps, Chet was exhausted and still cold. Cathal had jumped into the water, and though the other wolves were just figures in his constantly interrupted and blurring vision, he could see the danger they put themselves in. He trotted up to an altitude where his paws did not sink into the mud and let off a loud howl which characteristically cracked halfway through. He figured he should at least seem as though the effort was important to him.

Male || Alpha || Five Years Old || With Chet, Maleno, and Elanor

Cathal watched as Maleno jumped into the muddy water and worked her way to shore, jumping up onto the squishy land which Cathal now stood on. Chet made a different path, back up the hill, and howled. Well, that was useful in itself. Hopefully his pack would hear that while the trio continued their search for more members. He didn't question the omega. In fact, he made no comment as he turned away from the rushing water and started forward. His legs took him across the ground at a fast pace while he avoided the places where the ground looked unstable or slippery. "Follow me closely," he shouted back to Maleno and Ellie, knowing that one wrong step could mean drowning. With each new step he took, his paws made a soft squelching in the mud, though he pressed on, going at a slow enough pace that the two females could keep up. Carefully, he lifted his muzzle at a slight angle at let out another howl as he sprinted across his territory, calling out to his pack and telling them to respond.

Blitz was panting, mud and water clung to his pelt and his chin uncomfortably. His ears perked at the constant howls of his pack mates and he lifted his head into the air, tilting it back to make a deep howl. As soon as the sound rumbled out he started jogging to where the packs voice came from, hoping to catch up to them soon rather then later. His short legs were made up by his speed and they carried him across the soft ground. He could see a few dark figures ahead of him and he sped up, barking at their shadows. It was the alpha and some others who went out to search for the pack.

A loud groan came loose from the mouth of Maleno. She hadn't landed on her feet, but her side. She had slid a few feet in the mud, causing her body to be covered in the sticky and cold substance. She cursed under her breath and forced herself up. Her black fur was now mottled with brown splotches.

Long, muscle-filled legs darted after Cathal as Maleno tried to stay close to her alpha, like he had said. She groaned again and pushed herself faster. Her eyes glanced up at the sky, and she hoped the rain would soon wash off the brown in her coat. Eventually, she was by his side, running at the same pace Cathal was. Determination had washed over her, and Maleno hoped she was making her alpha proud. She was also glad she could help him.

Talia's heart beat slowed as the lack of oxygen pressed down on her shoulders, her lungs felt like empty balloons. Unable to get air, she knew survival chances were slim. It's Possible... She thought to herself I can... Survive Her eyes flicked open, though they were little use in the murky water. She lashed out her claws, thrashing around as they sliced through the mud-water.

In a moment she calmed down, knowing thrashing and twisting around wouldn't do any good. She floated underwater limp for a moment before kicking her hind legs and pawing above her with her fore paws. Leaning them slightly more in front of her slowly propelled her up, about and inch every half minute.

The seconds were going fast, each few that passed came along with a heart beat as the rate slowed

Linnion leaned back with another howl, replying to his alpha, asking if he should come, stay where he was, or do any other order Cathal would like him to do. He glanced around, desperate to see one of his pack mates. None. Where were they? He recognized the howls, knowing who made them and where they were.

Sky has a slender posture with muscles where there needed, such as round her shoulders or hinds. Giving her a somewhat advantage within 'fighting' Her gaze is a odd murky teal hue, with shades of Blue and green centered around the pupil. Her coat on another matter is a right jumble. It has shades of white to black in it, though it mostly looks a light grayish colour. She might even seem 'pretty' But she doubts this. Her canines are sharp like most wolves giving her a killer bite to her attack.


Personality:

Sky is a sociable wolf, loving to have some kind of company. Though she does like time to herself, witch leads to the next part in her story. Sky has the odd 'now and then' habit of staring into plane space. Well, that 'space' normally means in the distance. Letting her imagination flicking in, but mostly at Night is her best hour where the stars come alive with voices. Well. Not to be exact but, her mother always told her that the stars where ancestors. Sky gained her name from following in her mothers words and staring at the 'sky'. Listening to 'Grate elders of the past' natter on about there knowledge might seem boring but it has led Sky so far into the world of fighting no one has noticed yet. She puts others before her, making sure the pack is safer even without her. Sky is one who will get snappy to those who don't take her word, She isn't one to back down to a challenge. Sky can be aggressive at times needed and she's always up for the 'now and then' challenge.
