Lope perked his ears towards the ground as he has discovered a mice den, the chattering animals blatantly obvious. He scratched at the surrounding area, his desire for the small snack overpowering.

Willa spent the day curled in the corner of the common den, the scent of others clinging to the floor and walls comforting. She rolled onto her back and wiggled against the hard floor, wishing some kind of soft covering hid the bare rock. The instinct to build some sort of nest picked at her, but it was obvious that no grasses could be found.
