Storm shook his head. "Nothing's wrong, don't worry. I just need to talk to you." He trotted back to the den and sat down, motioning for them to follow.

Bronte followed, she tried not to show how worried she was. Bronte still needed to tell him about the humans, what if Storm, has more bad news?" Bronte shuffled and sat down in front of him.

Dusk's head lifted at the sound of gunshots. Cody and Vesper! Dusk's thoughts raced as he ran out of camp, starting to track the two wolves of his pack. He grabbed the scent and followed it, his worrying increasing as he smelt blood. Dusk increased his pace till he came apon the two wolves, Cody standing over Vesper. "What happened?" He demanded, looking towards his delta, and then back to Cody, ears back and teeth showing in a soundless snarl.

Cody looked worriedly at his alpha. we were running, trying to look for food. I didnt realize we got into an open field with humans outside and by the time I saw the gun it was to late. I tried to get out but I couldnt see Vesper so i went to find her. Shes been shot in the paw. By the looks of it she wasnt shot anywhere fatal. But its all my fault." Cody shook his head and licked blood from her paw. he muttered to himself.

Dusk looked over Vesper's paw, his ruff settling back down. "I'm sure it wasn't your fault...now help me get her back." He said, slipping underneath Vesper and heaving her onto his back. He gave his delta a quick lick, as if to comfort her before starting back to camp. "We better hurry..." Dusk growled as he trudged through the edge of the woods and towards the camp.

"There isn't anything wrong, and I don't really have anything to tell. But something needs to be done. We can't go on like this. White Nightlings only have one wolf on us, we can take them. We are strong. We need more territory. Do you both agree?" Storm waited hopefully for replies.

Cody kept pace up with him, " I feel horrible." he muttered and kept running.

Bronte smiled a little nodded, " I can take on any wolf if I need to." Said matter of factually. " So whats our plan of action?"

Storm looked in the direction of the White Nightling Pack. "Call them to the border and talk. Then we fight. The honorable way."

Bronte looked at him unsure, " Couldnt we expand the territory in the opposite direction?" She asked nervously.

Dusk shot a snarl in Cody's direction, panting a bit as he trotted with Vesper on his back. "It wasn't your fault. If it's anyone's, it's Vesper's. She knew what she was doing and there was no way you could have gotten there faster. Just be thankful that it was only her paw." He growled, finally getting to camp where Dusk gently lay Vesper down in her den. He took a quick glance at the bleeding paw and looked around. "Go fetch Goldpaw." He said to Cody.
