Ivory sank even lower, appearing no larger than a pup. She nodded, but was to shocked and frightened to feel anything else, let alone speak. Oh, Ebony, why? She asked silently. Suddenly longing for his comfort, she pressed into Raven instead. "I am so sorry...."
Ivory shuddered. Ebony was cruel, childish and extremely annoying but he was her brother. "I know, Raven....but I still feel as though it's my fault...I could have helped but I didn't," she said, bowing her head in shame.
'It was my fault.' Storm said, softly. 'I stepped on his tail.' she sighed. Her tail lowered, and she put her ears back. Ivory and Raven were a great couple, but Storm couldn't help but feel an immature pang of jealousy. 'The storm has passed. I'd better go outside...'
He sighed. Standing up and leaving Ivory's side he spoke. "It's neither of your faults..Bad things happen" He said glancing at the opening and the storm had indeed ended. Leaving a new layer of untouched snow and a light downfall as well.
