Zaura's interest was suddenly sparked. 'May I have a peek?' She asked coming around to check out the book.
Never leaned over for a curious glance before shrugging and leaning back into the couch.

she smiled "sure, this is just my pocket version, the orgionals in my back-pack in the kitchen" she marked the page with the spell she wanted and handed her the book

Zaura riffled through the pages with care even though it was just a copy. 'Interesting.' She murmurer memorizing several spells for later. As far her magic arsenal was mainly made up of elvish.

Alice smiled and giggled softly.

The King turned to walk gesturing for them to follow. 'Tell me, how was your trip?'
Linkheart explained his adventures including the demise of the shadows that had chased him there.

Minyon patted the elf on the back sending Linkheart trotting forward to regain some balance. 'Glad your home safe and sound, Zaura will be thrilled you've come.'
Linkheart beamed. 'Ahh, my apprentice, I wonder if she learned any new tricks.' He turned to Alice giving her a look which meant she could join in the conversation.

"Who is Zaura?" She asked suddenly getting jealous and defensive.

Minyon stifled a laugh. 'Your pack is growing.' He said smiling at Alice.
'Zaura is Never's half sister, she's from your world actually. I trained her, and have known her for 2 years. She's a good friend of mine. . . A Very good friend in fact.' He reflected smiling.
Minyon shook his head.

"A very good friend? Okay"
I can compete with that... She thought to her self not caring if anyone heard her thoughts.
"so she is Never's half sister?"

'She is one of the rare humans to ever save my life, on more then one occasion.' He said. 'And yep Never's half sister, they share the same father.'
'And boy do they get along.' Minyon added sardonically. 'I swear her dragon nearly ate him once.'
