Blackstar walked over and sat by Highclaw. "Come on Darkit" She purred

"Come on wakey shakey" Highclaw nudged

Darkkit woke with a start. "Highclaw!" He immediately sat up straight. "At you service ma'am! Would you like me to hunt for you ma'am? I can catch birds, ma'am, and other prey ma'am!"

"No little one I would like to ask you a question... Would you like to be my apprentice?"Highclaw purred

Darkkit hesitated. "Are you sure?" He was suspicious. Why would a clan cat want an apprentice that had just come out of the bracken?

"I want you to be a medince cat to help cats like you" She calmed to kit

Darkkit was surprised. "Me? a medicine cat? You think I have that determination? Wow! Of course I'll be your apprentice!" He purred.

Wildpaw yawned as she laid down in her den. She was so tired from collecting herbs, she had totally forgotten about hunting for the clan.
