A rose ever smells so sweet. Larzite gently pulled back he muzzle turning a baleful eye on Never.

Vicky laughed "well, its still weird for me, I didnt even know I wasnt normal till about three weeks ago" she sat down and sat her daughter on the floor
Rose pouted when the dragon pulled away from her, when Vicky put her down she put her hands on the ground in frount of her, trying to work out how to get around

Zaura leaned against Larzite's scaly neck, she didn't feel like sitting down after two hours of flight. 'Seems like your coping well, you should have seen me when I found out my normal mother was a warrior and I was thrust into this place.' She shook her head. 'It feels like a life time ago. . .So are you and Jay together?' She asked causally. Never shot her a shocked look.

Vicky blinked "no! I mean..." she blushed, not sure what to say, she still hadnt worked that out
Rose looked at the people around her, she didnt really understand what they were talking about but she was a little put-out that no one was paying attention to her, she made her little boat fly off the table and come to her

Larzite noticed the little boat fly over to Rose and cocked her head. She knew This little hatchling would accomplish great goals in her life. Very clever hatchling, show me again
Never gave Vicky a puzzled look but ignored it thereafter. 'So why do we have the pleasure of your visit?'
Zaura raised her eyebrow but kept her mouth shut. 'I'm here to give you this.' She pulled out a tan envelope from her jacket pocket. 'Don;t get used to this I ain't your messenger nor your taxi.'
Never took the letter. 'Taxi?'

Rose looked up and smiled at the dragon, letting the boat fly out of her hands and around her head, she was much more powerful than she should be at that age, mostly to do with her fathers contribution
Vicky tried to get rid of her blush, concertraiting on other matters "what do you mean?"

'Never mind, you'll know soon enough.'
Never tore open the envelope to reveal a solid black invitation with silver ornate writing. 'I've been invited to the High King's Ball to celebrate his first year on the throne.' He grinned up at Zaura and then at Vicky. 'I'm allowed a plus one.' His grin turned into a charming smile. 'Wanna come?'

Rose smiled and moved forward on her little hands, it wasnt really crawling but something close to it

'With in reason.' Never said looking back at Zaura. 'And I guess you and Larzite are taking us?!'
'Sure am.' Zaura said getting distracted by Rose trying to crawl around. 'So chop to it! Quick march out side!'
'Hold on.' Larzite said. 'I saw a tidbit tied to a tree, is he a in flight snack?' She smirked.
'Oh never mind him, he can dangle there for a day or too. Just need some charms to keep him safe and make sure his buddies don't come to rescue him.' Never said dismissively before explaining what he was doing hanging up in a tree.

Vicky laughed quietly "give me a minute" she opened her smaller carry-on spell book for little peices of magic, looking for the spell she wanted, one she had written herself in her wavy handwriting
