Nightwhisper finished with his duties and wandered over to his leader, seeing Lightning nearby. "What's going on?" Curiosity glimmered in his eyes.

The black tom looked back into the den to lok at Lightning's sleeping frame. "Lightning, she's a warrrior apprentice.", Pitch was surprised how easy it was to fall back into clan cat names for things after not using them for so long, "She's the one that suggested we leave Deathclan in the first place. I'm not sure about her history....if that's what you're asking. But she said she wanted to leave Deathclan because of the test to become a warrior and she missed Silverpaw." Pitch looked up at Nightwhisper when he padded over.

Nightwhisper narrowed his eyes. "How do I know I can trust you within the Clan? I mean, you were apprentices for the enemy..."

Redflower smiled and blushed slightly. She liked him.

"If you can't trust a clan mate, who can you trust?", Pitch's voice was firm and defensive. But his eyes were narrowed and cold as he returned Nightwhisper's glare.

Nightwhisper bristled a little. "I just want the clan to be safe. It's mt job. I don't want anyone hurt, so I need to make sure that no funny business is going on."

Redflower nodded and looked down, she picked up the dead mouse. Even though it was dead, she carried it gently. Redflower started walking to camp.
