If we're sharing art, I might as well post one of my practice doodles of Mozart. I'm pretty awful at birds in general so the proportions seem odd to me. Also, Flammulated owls have an eye shape that totally confuses me, so he looks like he's got a very weird expression, just ignore that. xD

O_O This is beautiful! For saying you're awful at birds, I'd say this is a pretty incredible piece. The anatomy does seem a bit off, but all in all your use of color for the feathering and patterns is just...wow. Breathtaking.

Hey guys, if it's alright to post here even without a daemon, I guess I'll just say hello because I have some questions, but if not I'll delete my post :>

I was curious about daemons so I looked it up and found a website which I hope is accurate and helped me understand the concept of one. It should be easy for me to find a voice for my subconscious, and any extra information I should no about I'd be happy to hear, I'm very interested in this.

But I'm also unsure of something. Usually if I were to put an image to my subconscious I would use my fursona just to entertain my imagination (which to me was a little embarrassing until I found this), would it be natural for me to picture my daemon as my fursona until it assumes a comfortable animal form?

Keep in mind I'm very new to this so please correct me if I'm wrong on something. Thanks!

Yes, I've skimmed over that site and it seems pretty accurate to me. I'm glad to hear you've taken an interest in this, and I hope we can help you to form a stronger bond with your daemon.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with projecting your daemon as a fursona at all. If your mind can picture it, your dae can be projected as it, whether it's a rabbit, fox, bird, whale, or a bowl of fruit. However, for the personality part of daemonism, you can only settle as an earthly animal, and forms such as mythological creatures, made-up species, inanimate objects, or people are not viable as their personalities cannot be accurately be made into an analysis.

Here on CS people call me Nix, this is my daemon Dominix (Yeah I got my name from his name :p) and we're unsettled however the Korat Cat fits quite well and we are also looking into rodents such as the Pacarana!

I think I'll just have to make it a habit to listen to my subconscious thoughts (like "oh my god why would you do that that was horrible"), which I've really noticed all the time but I've always thought it was just me!
This is really eye-opening for me because I used to talk to myself in my head about things when I was bored, and every know and then I'll actually argue with myself. I also have quite an imagination, so this should be easy!

Sometimes I also answer myself without realizing, like if I were to ask someone "Do you think it's going to rain today?" and if they didn't answer I might say, "I think so." and then catch myself doing it. xD
Are these normal signs or does it just mean I have an overactive mind?
