Trade Rant Thread [v. 17] *new rule*

That's what I'm upset about.
That beautiful dog right there.

That I'm not ever getting because I can't trade my Yellow Toxic for a BA.

Scratch that.
The person who owned the Sorbet I was going to trade for with the BA no longer owns the Sorbet.
In other words, I am never getting the dog. Ever.

Getting a BA was my last shot at it.
Traded it away then asked for a trade back and found it it was already traded away to someone else.
Couldn't get it back so I had to try trade for another with my Toxic.
Turns out the Sorbet was now gone and I was too late.

Know what I hate? Fake auto-cancels. The person types the message that is the auto-cancel message, and I just hate it. I've clicked their pet(s) and they were still owned by that person, and I checked mine-no accepted trades. Seriously, you could've just said no thanks.

^^; Never heard of this before, but now that I have, it just sounds wrong. Since auto cancels and actual canceling gives different titles (A trade you have been participating in has been canceled and the ____ has canceled your offer.), it shouldn't be that easy to get away with :P

Rant : Was overpaying for a hoard pet, trade gets canceled because of a danged mohawk dog from last month not included.

A problem with me is that I disabled the thing that everytime something happens with a trade it doesn't send me a PM, so I never know if they're lying or not.

Alicia - There is a way of finding out without all the fuss.

Auto-Cancel says;
The cancel message was:
(This trade was automatically cancelled because one of the pets in the trade was moved or deleted.)

Cancel;
They included this message:
(This trade was automatically cancelled because one of the pets in the trade was moved or deleted.)

There's another difference between auto-cancelled trades and user-cancelled trades :)

[User] cancelled this trade at [Date] <-- user-cancelled

When people trade me a pet then regret it and send many offers trying to get it back and keep asking what I want for it. Please people, if you're going to trade a pet, make sure you won't regret it first.
