Unexpected Allies - Valley vs. Mountain Sequel {CLOSED}

Dakota smiled and chuckled deeply when Lor started celebrating the sucess of their hunt. He then smiled when she licked his cheek. "No need to apologize, Lor." He said simply, taking a step towards her to lick her cheek gently hoping to help her feel less embarressed. He stood in front of her and smiled at her with softly shining ice blue eyes and a gentle expression.

Lor's speckle colored pelt was shining softly in the sun as the rays beat down on the little hunting trip. She looked up at Dakota and suddenly she didn't feel as shy, "Lets take this over to the river and enjoy a little time away from all of the chaos." sha said to him with a wolfish grin. They would have more time to just talk for a bit that way then instead of being cramped in the camp trying to talk without being overheard.

Shadow's body jumped as he gasped for air. More blood splattering on the pink snow. He could hear the crunching of snow as paws hit them in the distance. But his eye sight was glazing over. His heart slowing more and more with each pulse. "H-Hik..." he coughed but even now his voice wouldn't work. Everything was shutting down. Ever so slowly. I don't want to go yet... I have not passed on my legacy nor chosen a new leader... he thought coughing more blood.

Rush's ears pricked towards where the howls where coming from. "It's Bloodlust! She has murdered Valleypack alpha!" she announced in her bell sweet yet pained voice. Like every word was agony on her throat. Her brown eyes watched as Rowan licked Lune's ear and she felt her heart drop a little. I will be stuck in here healing while she will be out there with Rowan... she thought glumly her ears dropping a little against her head.

Hikari skidded to a stop in front of Shadow and was imedeatly kneeling at his side despite her fur being stained red with his blood. "Shadow! Shadow can you hear me?" She cried helplessly, laying at his side in the snow. "Shadow, don't go yet, I never got to tell you... I... Shadow I'm... Shadow I'm going to have pups..." She said, her voice broken and fearful for her mate's life. "Don't leave them without a father Shadow...."

(Aww, poor Hikari...)

Dakota smiled and took a step forward, "Away from the chaos, that sounds lovely Lor." He said in a soft voice, now walking towards the river with a light step. He looked back over his shoulder at her, waiting for her to follow before he went much further. Away from the chaos... Something he'd wanted for some time now. It was always attack this, Valleypack that. Despite his combat training and how he'd been turned into a strong fighting wolf, he still just wished it would be a time of peace and not a time of war.

Not paying attention very well, Tot almost ran into Hikari when she stopped. He looked down at the Valley Pack Alpha, Shadow, who was pretty badly beaten up. Oh no no no! Why would Bloodlust do this?! he thought, anger and sadness welling up inside of him. Maybe there's still a chance he hoped, howling to call his mother and Valley Pack healer, Megan.

Meg's ears pricked at Tot's howl. Something must be wrong! she thought, running into the healing cave and grabbing herbs and salves and putting them in a bag the pack had found that once belonged to a human. She darted out of the cave towards Tot, the bag bouncing around her neck.

Loralie look up at Dakota and ran after him prancing into the air and play biting at his ear. She let out a wolfish laugh as she ran by his heading towards the low running river through the bottom of the territoy, 'Catch me." she barked back ash she flew through to low mountain bushes. She didn't sprint though, after all she had the advantage of being the fastest in the pack. She looked over her speckled shoulder at the beautiful black wolf. She had opened up to someone. Someone she knew she could trust. And for once in her life, trusting another wolf felt good. She was always decieved as she grew up, and maybe, just maybe Dakota was what she had needed the whole time.

Rowan looked up at his father. "Jasper-father.." she said as he trailed off. "Perhaps untill we can tell Valleypack Bloodlust is not in our pack, perhaps you should call back the groups that were about to hed out to attack, and maybe we should go on the defense for a while.." Rowan said as his words trailed off into nothing. He looked at Lune and flicked his ears softly. If they attacked, his whole pack would be endangered. Valley may not have the upperhand, but if Shaodw dies, they were bound to want revenge..

((Kyoko, are Dakota and Loralie going to become mates?))

Hikari whined sharply in worry and raised her head to howl for Megan even more urgently than Tot had. "Megan, help!" She cried hopelessly, looking back down at the blood stained snow that now covered her snow white pelt. "S-shadow, hold on, don't leave yet!" She said, nuzzling her mates neck gently as she laid next to him.

Dakota smiled and chuckled deeply as he ran after Lor into the forest brush. He followed the color of her speckled pelt into the shadows of the trees and smiled as he ran up beside her. His training for fighting agility had given him incredible running skills, but despite that he most likely wouldn't be able to match the speckled she-wolf at a full sprint. He blinked his eyes at her with a smile as he turned his head just slightly and touched his nose to her cheek, "Caught you." He said with a small chuckle.

Loralie let out a playful laugh as she ran faster now towards the lake. There was a cliff here and under it was a small sheltered den she had found it about 1 year ago. She took a sharp turn to the left and hid herself in the deep underbrush. "Come find me. she whispered as she quietly paded through the leaves and towards the large cliff. Once she knew he must have lost her she flung her tail into the air. The cream colored speckled tail was like a white flag.


((cools, I was thinking like 4 pups or something. I figured we could each pick up one, Esp, and someone else. Or we can do 5 pups and each pick up two, I don't care ))

Dakota smiled and calmly trotted after Lor with a quiet chuckle. Even with the obvious sight of her tail above the underbrush, he didn't need that to find the speckled wolf in the shadows. With one swift motion he jumped back into the brush and quietly placed each paw step so barely a sound arose. "While the sight of the beautiful tail wouldn't be nessesary for me to find you, I don't mind to much." He said, leaping up onto a tall boulder so that he looked down at her with a smile.
