The Dog Life (A dog roleplay. Accepting.)

Padding along further, she noticed the forest. She knew about the dogs in there, forming a pack. "I should stay away, don't want them ripping me apart" she muttered to herself, turning her gaze back on the sidewalk. She looked at humans and lowered her ears, whimpering. It was the same everyday, beg for food. "here you go little guy" a man said, dropping a half eaten burger patty in front of her. She gave a bark in thanks before eating the patty.

Duke sighed. He had nothing to do. His stomach was rumbling, for he hadn't eaten that day. He trotted out of the forest, heading for the city. By the time her got there, his paws were raw and sore. She moaned and looked around. He heard his stomach complain again. The smell of a burger drew him farther into the city. Duke's nose led him to a large female eating a burger patty. He was going to ask for some, but she had already scoffed it down. he sighed and walked closer. "Hello there." he said quietly.

Midnight lifted her head at the sound of another dog. "Hey, do you need something?" she asked, tilting her head a bit. She hadn't seen this dog before, was he apart of the gang that killed her brother. Thinking about it, she let her head down low again, giving him a bit of a warning not to mess with her. She backed up a bit, guarding the rest of her food she had gotten.

"No. I just followed my nose into this city and found you." Duke said.

"Followed your nose..." Midnight repeated before getting what he was searching for. "Hungry, huh?" she asked, smirking. She looked back at the pile of burger patties and dog treats. She looked back at him, still wary as she dropped a patty in front of his paws.

Duke watched as the female dropped the patty. His eyes widened, and he could almost taste it in his mouth. "Thank you!" He said gratefully. He started munching on the patty, his tail wagging.

"yeah well...don't get used to it. i'm not always this nice" Midnight said, stuffing the rest of the food in a sac. She carried it with her mouth, beginning to walk away.

Duke frowned and snorted. He was gratefull that the female had gave him the patty, but... He got up and walked away.
