I looked down, shuffling my paws in the mud beneath them before turning my head to look up at the spaniel-like dog. I nodded at her wishes, she was the alpha, and I was to listen to her commands, but I understood completely. There were so many others that were caring enough to go off and help her, it would take merely a few moments before someone else would have stumbled by. I gave a quick shake to my wet and mudded coat before hopping out of the mud down by the lower parts of the lake's banks.
I turned my head up to Parina, stretching my jaws wide and curling my tongue as I let out a whining yawn. It was getting later in the day, and seeing as I had been up before the sun rised, I was more than ready to crash into my bed. I rolled my shoulders as I turned, walking to get into a better position, right at Parina's side. We had about a .4 mile walk to get back to the area we called our camp, and it might as well be an interesting one.
My wet and mudded coat weighed me down, making it pretty hard to walk, but I was used to it. Tromping in the lake, or any other large area of water was the only way for me and any other dogs to really escape the heat, and I don't mean in the shade cool, the lakes around the farm were practically freezing which made the air nice and warm when we got out. I lifted my head up and slightly to the left as I began to speak,"Why'd you come here Parina?" I paused, rephrasing my question."I mean, why'd you choose the farmland over the cities, the streets, the woods even.."Currently Doing. . . wrote:☪ Tyson

I was more than worried, a fellow pack mate and a friend had not come home. I knew very well that the fae tended to stray beyond Bane's territory, and into the farmlands as she liked the peace, but she'd never not arrived home, especially at dinner time. I gave a sideways glance to Carlotta,"I have a friend that has not yet come home although she is always home at this hour. Please, stay here and chill out, you are welcome to sleep in the territory for the night, and decide whatever in the morning, but I must go out and find my friend. She might be injured." I told her, turning my head and bounding off before waiting for her response.
I knew where she would be, almost exactly, and I had pictures in my mind as I picked up a faster pace. I was practically sprinting through my territory, coming around street corners and hopping slyly over the fences that blocked alleyways before I reached the city grounds. I slowed, almost halted as I wearily glanced around, I didn't like walking into Bane's territory, but I knew there was no other choice, the farm dogs may have taken Saska, or even humans, either way, I had to cross their territory.
My paws pounded hard against the asphalt as I regained the same speed I had before, but my mistake was going the shortest way, through the heart of the area, and right down the alley Bane and Nightmare were in. I didn't have the time to stop and explain myself although I knew I would have to if he pursuited me. I jumped up the concrete stairs in front of the door and lunged onto the top of the dumpster, landing hard on my front paws. I didn't look back, as I knew it would turn into a game of tag if I did, but I just kept running.

Rinto sat, her shoulders hunched sourly. "I wasn't going to attack. Merely attract their attention." She grumbled, only half talking to Marvel. She peeked through a crack in the wall, watching the old horse with the humans. Facing her body toward the exit, she let her head swing over her shoulder to check the others before slipping out silently, the wood pressing lightly on her strong back. Keeping low, her stomach nearly dragging on the ground, she slunk into the tallest grass next to the barn.
Her tan fur was nearly the color of the grass, but her white stomach and legs weren't helpful. The sun beat down on her back, feeling the warmest on her ears and shoulders, where her fur was dark brown. He head rose lightly as she skimmed the scene with the humans and horse, her ears pricked forward and a cautious countenance. She felt like quite an emissary as she stepped forward, her tail just exiting the barn.
