Layla sat alone. The sun glowing on her beautiful fur. She wondered whether she would get a mate.

Madeline looked around, searching for a quick meal. The scent of a rabbit filled the young loner's nostrils. It didn't seem like much, but it would do. She headed toward the scent. The fae caught the trail of the scent, at the same time finding it hard to believe any plump rabbits would even be nearby. Finding the small paw-prints of the small prey and put her nose to the ground. The scent was old, meaning the rabbit wasn't there anymore. She sighed. There went her lunch, and her luck.
Tank yawned as he looked around. The young brute felt rather bored as he scanned the area. There was a fae talking to the alpha, of course, and the others were doing something time-consuming, making him feel useless in the pack. He shook out his fur and looked for something to do, for something that would make him feel more welcomed in his new home.
