to Mist Valley, home of the beautiful, strange creatures known as
kirids.
Here you will find a variety of these mystical creatures to adopt, or simply look at.

[ kirids ]
Kirid are creatures that are not well known to most of mankind.
They are horse-like, although generally taller and more slim in stature.
Both genders sport luxurious manes, long tails topped with fur at the end, and two shining horns.
[ behavior ]
Generally, Kirids are peaceful creatures, trying to avoid fights.
They' can be quite shy.
However, males will often 'fight' over females, clashing their horns
together, although it is rare for them to actually be hurt.
[ habitat ]
Kirids, after coming to Mist Valley and finding an owner,
can go almost anywhere. They're very versatile creatures,
and although they do love swampy or mountainous areas,
they can easily adapt to any habitat; feel free
to have your kirid's history occur anywhere you like.
[ coloring ]
These beautiful creatures come only in colors naturally found on horses.
Perhaps to better blend in with their habitats?
Almost all Kirids have lovely brindled patterns on their coats.
You'll find some with horse-like patterns in addition to the brindling, as well.
It is, however, very rare to find one with no brindling at all.
If we're speaking of rare creatures, I suppose I'll tell you about the three horned, or Warrior, Kirid, as well.
Some say it's only a legend...but it's said that sometimes, very rarely, a Kirid with three horns is born.
As it goes, these Kirid often become brave and valiant leaders or warriors.
But who knows if that's true? You'll just have to find out for yourself, won't you.

To adopt a Kirid, simply click on one that says 'adopt me'
and meet the requirements on it's post.
If the Kirid has a sun, it's a male, a crescent moon, it's female. This is because generally,
Kirid born during the day are male, while those born at night are female, though there are of course exceptions. <3
Please only adopt a Kirid if you plan on taking care of it! ^^;
Oh, but, I almost forgot; the adoption part is how Mist Valley Kirids gained their name! <3
When a Kirid is ready to find a human companion, they will come to this valley, surrounded in
beautiful mist, and wait until they find a friend just right for them.
So, why not look around? You may find the perfect Kirid for you. <33
