Dusk chuckled at the eagerness in Cody's voice and turned around. He licked a paw before heading off into the woods to see things for himself.

Cody stopped and scented the air, there was a hare a few feet in front of him. it was a challenge but he could try. Cody stalked toward it, the long grass helped keep him covered. Finally the hare lifted his head and tried to bolt but Cody was already right there. He lunged and killed it swiftly. Then he padded back in camp, his head held high.
