Bramblestrike smiled and ate his fill, then pushed the rest over to Silverwater. "You can have the rest." he said, then began to wash his fur. He hated it when it was matted with sand!

She shrugged. "I'm thinking that Brambelstrike's apprentice, Sandpaw needs to be made a warrior. He's been training hard and well and deserves this chance. Don't tell a soul though please!" She pleaded.

Featherstep nodded. "I won't, i promise." she mewed as they finally arrived camp.

Echostar nodded. "Thanks Featherstep! You're a great friend!" she mewed quietly as she padded to her den. She curled up in the moss. She knew Sandpaw was ready to be a warrior...but she needed a name. Sandstorm? No, too original. Sandheart? No, corny. Sandspot? Maybe, sort of a nice ring to it. Sandclaw? No, silly sounding. Sandy little child? She laughed to herself. Suddenly she stood up. Perfect. She had the perfect name...

Featherstep purred as Echostar walked away. She actually thought of her as a friend! It feel nice to have friends. She thought as she placed her kill on the pile.

She padded out onto the rock under her den. Were all the cats back yet? She sighed. Waiting could be annoying but she had to make sure the Clan was here.

[Quitting•]

"I'm not that hungry," Silverwater meowed. She started licking behind his ears, clearing away the sand.

Bramblestrike purred, enjoying the smooth strokes of her tongue.

Silverwater was just about to lick his check when claws grabbed her tail and she was swept through the camp wall. Razor sharp claws pierced her shoulders as the mysterious cat pinned her. "You're coming with me..."
