Bane slunk through the thorny brush, the right side of his broad muzzle wrinkling in the beginnings of an ill-tempered and irritated snarl. "Marvel, will you just shut the hell up? I swear, your just obsessed with the sound of your own voice." he finally broke, whipping his fangs roughly an inch from his brother, huffing a warm gust of air onto his smaller face. With that he flattened his ears, trying to find one of his fellow pack mates to take out on a patrol with him, and hopefully not his brother. Being as yes, Marvel was starting to get on his nerves after their failed hunting trip. Because it was ‘his’ entire fault. Well, whatever. That’s what you get for taking a practical cripple with you, and he didn’t want to hear any more about it. Letting out his usual low howl that was more of a rumble, the massive flat black and silvered brute perked his wide ears, hoping for any response, aside from one of that horrifying pain and fear.
Bane thankfully didn't hear a howl of that sort in a response, but kept his ears alert and expectant for some return. Following his brother into the trees, he breathed a sigh of relief, looking back at his leg. It doesn't look deformed at least; he just keeps it off of the ground so it causes less pain that way. "Mh, just the same ol' deal Marvel." he answered his brother, giving a reluctant smile. He knew his brother only cared and wanted to help, but he hated the subject. "So... I guess no one is up yet?" he mumbled, sticking his wet nose to the chilled pine needles as he lazily followed the stale scent of Rose from where he and his beloved alpha had been walking through a day or so ago while talking of pack matters.

Marvel pranced along near behind his brother, babbling on about how he had tipped right over and lost the buck, a sneer spread over his face. He knew just how to get under his 4 minute older brother. Seeing Bane whip around, he had just enough time to pull his head away, his bright golden eyes locked on Bane's yellow, making him shudder. "I am not obsessed with my voice." he defended in a low mumble, scooting past Bane quickly and practically howling a little song. No, not some dumb, cheesy, 'I howl to you wind' sort of deal, just Marvel being good ol' Marvel. Flicking his eyes back at Bane and hearing that rough voice of his brother, he shook his head. Mh, if only Bane was how he used to be, before the incident. Now, he seemed to Marvel at least to be an uptight brute that had little interest in anything. Eh, maybe not, but that’s how it seemed. He knew his brother would do anything for any pack mate, heck, probably even a non-pack mate, only if they seemed worthy of the treatment of course.
"Bane, how has your leg been feeling lately?" Marvel murmured back to his brother, knowing he hated the topic, but you can't blame a brother for caring. Trotting along and gradually taking them into the trees rather the tight and painful brush and foliage. No, the injury wasn't recent, defiantly not. That had happened when they were roughly three, and now they were nearly six years old. Though Marvel at least didn't show it, unless you get him in a serious enough state. The two brothers can really surprise you. He paused in mid stride, taking in a deep breath as he stretched out, shooting his gaze about and wishing someone would come up sooner or later. He loved having attention, and didn't even try to deny it.

Parina whimpered and whined as the deer’s hoof landed on her paw, cringing and curling up in the near fetal position. The main reason she was so scared, was because she had been going off into la la land, and hadn't paid the least bit attention to her surroundings. And now, that apparently resulted in what seemed like a crushed paw. But, she doubted it was that bad, no way right? With that, she got back to her three good paws, licking the one gingerly and whimpering some more. No, she was defiantly not one suit to dealing with pain, and so far. She was being a baby, but that’s just Parn for you.
Parina let out a louder whine as an owl busted out of the tree above her, her blue eyes widening, terrified and caught off guard. "Oh, I just want this day over with." she complained, padding away from the spot as fast as she could with the hurt paw. She went through some vegetation, picking out some herbs, chewing then up and swallowing. Parn was skilled when it came to the sort, and knew it would relieve most of the pain in her poor paw. Seeing blood on her paw she groaned, licking it clean and holding it in the air to keep it off the ground.
