Gale didn't even bother sneaking a glance at Riley this time, just sat and drummed random rhythms on the wheel. Where the hell was he going to get ice cream? It was snowing, for goodness' sake. Probably because Gale was feeling a little 'frosty', as his mates would say. Ha, ha, ha. Absolutely hilarious. They had many different nicknames for him when the weather changed according to his mood.
He turned into the massive store parking lot and into a spot, then reached into the backseat and pulled out his sweatshirt. Glancing at Riley, he added, "Cover up those."

Riley smiled as they turned into the parking lot, in front of a large store. "Oh yeah. Right." She said quietly, glancing up at Gale and then rolling down her sleeve to cover her tattoo. She looked at Gale and set her hand on the handle, waiting for him to tell her to step outside. Riley was really excited to get ice cream, and she was bursting with excitement.

Gale slipped his leather jacket on over his shirt, then placed his dark shades on the bridge of his nose. He glanced at Riley once, wincing, - though she couldn't see it as his eye were completely covered, and added, "You don't have a … like, some glasses or a hood or something?" If this girl proved to be too dangerous then they would be heading out of town for a bit and Riley needed some sort of vague disguise. Opening the ferrari door, Gale stepped out into the snow.

Riley pulled her soft striped hood over her her head silently. She pulled her shirt down and popped the door open, slamming it shut after. She walked around the front of the car to meet Gale. "Got any other sunglasses?" She stuck out her hand and leaned against the cherry red ferrari, taking a big gulp of the cold air.

Gale shrugged boredly, his arched eyebrow barely visible behind the large frames. "If I had them you would be wearing them, darling. Never mind; just keep yo' head down." Kicking the door shut with a hard, military-clad boot he turned on his heel and started to walk towards the enterance, hands shoved deep into his pockets.

Riley frowned. She wanted some cool sunglasses like Gale had. "Alright." She began to regret getting ice cream, but they were already in the parking lot. She slumped and looked at the snow-covered ground, the cold snow soaking into her blue and lime green Nikes. She didn't really care, she just kept walking next to Gale. She had a strange feeling of protection with him somehow. "So..... what are you going to get?"

Gale walked faster than your average person, taking long strides so he could get inside quicker and keep from gettin too wet. He could easily just make it boiling hot … but he didn't exactly want the world's weather-forecasting team on his shoulders claiming that the freak weather was a sign of mass apocalypse.
Yes, he could grudgingly admit it had happened before.
Glancing down at the girl beside him, Gale shrugged. "Eh, I dunno. I'm just escording you to the frozen foods isle." His perfectly white-toothed grin was infuriating.

Riley kept her pace with Gale, which was actually how she usually walked. Her long days of tough workouts and runs had paid off. "Should of brought my seal hat." She muttered, rubbing her arms. Her seal hat was her favorite winter hat. It was warm and fuzzy, and the hat had a cute little seal face on it. Little tufts of fur drooped down on a thick string on each side, that hung from the hat. She wished she could have that fluffy fur tickling her cheeks now. She could see her breath, coming out of her mouth in a large cloud of steam.

Riley watched as Gale gave the perfect, cheeky grin. She frowned and stuck her tongue out at him, then pulled it back in quickly. "We aren't getting fresh ice cream?" Riley complained.

Gale shrugged slightly, rolling his eyes at her tongue. "Figure of speech. We can get ice cream wherever." He frowned, shoving his hands in his pockets after adjusting his shades slightly. He'd parked on the almost furthest away spot from the store and his lips were turning slightly blue in the cold. Yeah, he liked wearing tight, thin tops, but they weren't exactly practical. They always ripped at the wrong moments, right down the middle so everyone could see his hard-earned six-pack and gawk. The memory made him smile; Hannah staring at him with wide, lovestruck eyes like she'd never seen anything more beautiful. Gale had kind of avoided her since then … it was just too awkward around camp.
His mind drifted on to camp. Would they be okay with Riley and her oh-so-casual parent stories? What if they decided they didn't like her? Where would she go …?
A thought struck Gale and he stopped in his tracks, string at her with wide eyes. "Dude. You made a seal into a hat?!"

Riley looked at Gale, slightly confused. "Oh. Then where are we even walking?" She stopped, and looked around. There were lots of stores near them. A small coffee shop, a grocery store, a clothing store. Her eyes lead her to something that she figured was an ice cream shop. Frostie's it read.

Riley started cracking up at Gale's stupid remark. She bent over and clutched her stomach, laughing hysterically. "No, you dummy!" She said, gasping for air.
