Kamalu found a mint berrie and handed it to Kiba. "Here you go," he said.

The Ursaring dropped back onto all fours, growling. "Stay back!" it growled. "Leave!"
(I thought of a reason it would want them away~)

"Not until you tell us why you attacked our friends!" Axel barked, fists clenched.

The Ursaring clawed at the ground. "My cubs," it murmured. It raised its head and looked into the tree.

Axel stopped moving about. "Cubs?" Axel repeated, looking into the tree as well.

The Ursaring nodded her heavy head. "Cubs," she repeated. "Pokemon come, circling tree where cubs are. I chase away," she grunted.

"Oh, so you were only trying to protect them!" Eveline said, recovered now and padding up next to Axel. "Don't worry, we never had intentions of hurting them." she said as Axel nodded.

The Ursaring sat down, nodding. "I understand. Cubs safe then?" she asked, tipping her head.
