The War of the Eclipse (Multi-Animal;; Maybe Reopening? :D))

Maggio growled in annoyance. "Who does that wolverine think he is?" he said to himself, swallowing the last of the rabbit. The fox got up and stretched, taking his time as he waltzed over to where Gage was. His normally grumpy attitude was increased tenfold with the unusually bright sun above him. No matter, he thought, It'll be completely covered soon enough. Smilling as he imagined what would happen in two days, Maggio finally reached the wolverine. "What is it?" he demanded, "And where have you been?"

Gage rolled his eyes at Thorn, and turned back to Soc and Maggio. "Thorn and I were... out for a while. But we're back now, and I have something.. fun for all of us to do. There," he said, tilting his head. In the distance stood Dakotah, and Yuki slowly walking past her. Yuki's tail was dragging as he walked. "They trespassed," Gage said. "And it doesn't seem that the little Jackal is going anywhere. And the other one, with his tail dragging, isn't going anywhere very fast," he said, smiling. "With three of us, we may have a chance, if you'd like," Gage said, his voice getting low. "Or we could just let the other walk away and catch the Jackal off guard." Gage's focus turned to Soc. "I know you're in. I'm pretty sure, anyways. And if Maggio's not, then we'll just get the Jackal." Gage stopped speaking in his low, quiet voice, and returned to his normal one. "Your decision."

Thorn spoke up after Gage first, grinning. "I could get the jackal," she said. "You promised I would get one with fight left in it, and that pathetic-looking, tail-dragging fox is too easy." She paced around the group. "It'll be simple. She won't even notice me until the last second, and I doubt she could get away soon enough." Thorn looked at the three of them, looking pretty confident about herself.

"Oh?" Gage said. "I thought you were too busy? You said you had something better to do," he said, mocking her. "Well, let's just wait a minute," Gage said, stepping in front of Thorn to hopefully stop circling. "I believe that Soc should decide who he gets. But don't worry, Thorn; I'll make sure you get the kill of your choice on the day of the Eclipse if you don't get your turn this time. And I'm sure I know who your choice of game is?" Gage imagined Thorn mauling the Alphas. He grinned.

Thorn returned the evil smile. She knew they were both thinking she would target the alphas. She knew she would somehow get to the center of the battlefield and rip their throats out. Yes, she anticipated the eclipse. Hopefully it would be a little earlier than planned. Thorn reminded herself to stop circling, and waited for Soc to pick who he wanted to choose to take down.

"No," Maggio said simply, making eye contact with all of them, daring them to challenge him. "We're fighting on the day of the eclipse, not a moment sooner. Besides, would you really be so stupid as to try attacking them in broad daylight? And so close to their territory too? Morons..." he muttered. "Get some rest and start planning for the attack, I don't want you attacking or fighting anybody. Practice training with each other if you need to."

Thorn snarled, but sauntered away. She knew the alpha male had power over them, but she didn't exactly enjoy when he called them morons. Thorn thought back to what the alpha male had suggested. In her anger she had almost forgotten what he had said, but she had caught a part of "get some rest", so she wandered to her den, taking her time to get there. Finally, Thorn reached her den and when she went to lay down in her nest, she fell asleep instantly.

Magi sniffed, turning on her heel. She couldn't fight, her senses just simply were not sharp enough. The fact that she was blind was bugging her more than usual lately. She could usually ignore the fact that she could not see and rely on her other senses, but at the moment she felt slow and sluggish. She sniffed the camp for the alpha, or, maybe, the healer.

"Chemukh?" She called, wondering why she could not scent the clan members. She felt weird, unable, disabled. "Chemukh?!" She repeated, louder. "Somebody?" Nothing made any sense any more. The scent of the fresh-killed hare, which she scented clearly before, was lost in fearscent, her own, sounds echoing...

Yuki looked back over his shoulder, "Dakotah?" he called, "Are you going to come back to camp?" (WB ;~;)
