Sandyfern nodded, and she flicked her tail before getting to her paws and leaving.

Moonstar woke with a jolt, his tail twitching.

[walk.]

Pondweed watched Sandyfern go and gently lifted Bramblepaw into the nest. He turned to Moonstar and mewed, "Don't worry, you just lo a life. We lost the battle, Splashkit gave himself to Splash clan to keep us safe."

[wolf ;;]

Moonstar looked up, then he nodded, sitting up.

[walk.]

Pondweed mewed, "What's up Moonstar?"

[wolf ;;]

Moonstar blinked his eyes. "Nothing."

[walk.]

Pondweed mewed, "Aren't you worried about Splashkit? He is your step son, and mate's child."

[wolf ;;]

"Of course I am!" Moonstar snapped.

[walk.]

Pondweed stepped back and muttered, "I was just saying... Get out of my den."

[wolf ;;]

Moonstar growled slightly. Then the black and white tom got to his paws and padded out of the den.

Pondweed rolled his eyes, grumpy jerk. Did he not even care that his son had just been taken by an enemy warrior?!
