Bill looked back to see if Ember was following him, then sighed when he saw that he was stuck. He pushed Ember inside, then went to the kitchen to make some coffee.

Jiro dropped his dog and took a deep breath, he just kept getting heavier.

Bill brought out coffee for the the two of them. "I know how you feel."

Ember stayed where Bill had left him, resting his head on his stomach. He just wanted to go to bed...

Jiro sipped his coffee quietly.

Bill looked at Jiro. "I wonder what he changed in stuff to make it so addicting for pets..."

"guess only he knows for sure." Jiro shrugged. "all I know about him is his name, Pride."

"Pride? Why does that sound familiar...?" Bill thought hard, trying to think of where he'd heard that name before...

"you tell me..." Jiro shrugged.

Pride had called Jesu to his office, waiting.

Bill sighed. "I'll figure it out later..."

Jesu padded into Pride's office. "What?"

"same here." Jiro smirked.

"nothin'..." Pride shrugged. "I've been thinking...."
