I'm going to start the RP
Okay so one last thing. (I should've already decided this xP)
But I needed to make up a character to keep track of the ranch place.
This is Elizabeth Mellard. She is 30yrs & keeps track of the Center and will greet the riders who are coming to stay. No she is not the owner. The real owner is an old lady, but she is rich and owns multiple homes so she prefers to live up in her ranch in Canada. She visits only a couple of times during the year. Mostly in the winter when it's not too 'hot'.
So in general she is the ranch supervisor and will check up on everyone every once in a while.
She is free for everyone to RP!
Murphy nervously exited the driver's seat of her truck parked on the paved circle drive infront of the huge log cabin ranch home. Last year Murphy had come to White Fox during the summer, and now she was back. She had the time of her life, and this is what she'd been waiting for all year. It was what motivated her in school to make good grades, and to make smart choices. The excitement inside of her bubbled into nervous energy. Murphy didn't know why, because she knew this place, but that didn't stop her from chewing on her fingernails.
The wind tugged at her pink lace shirt and scarf as she clicked in her cowgirl boots up the front steps. The door was open in welcome to the arriving guests for Move-in-Day. Even as Murphy stepped inside, she couldn't escape the wind. Frustrated with her hair whipping in her face, Murphy grabbed it all to the side, but that didn't stop some strands from fighting loose and teasing her again. Not that she could do anything about it.
"Murphy Davis!" A happy voice called from down the wide hallway. It belonged to a tall sharp looking woman who was clicking down the hall in dark jeans and tall black dress boots that went up to her knees. It was Elizabeth Mellard--the supervisor of the ranch, "How have you been sweetheart? Haven't seen you since last summer!"
"Oh I've been good," Murphy spoke with a smile, her hair still to the side in her fists. Though a little irritated (partially because of her nervousness) she still asked out of courtesy, "How are you Liz?"
"Well I've been just fine!" Elizabeth said with a big smile and went on to talk about how things have been going at the ranch, but Murphy completely zoned out. She could be the perfect zombie--just standing there an acting while her mind was on other things. She thought about all the new people she would meet today, wondering what they would be like..
"--Oh Ms. Liz?" Since Murphy wasn't really listening to her in the first place, she didn't know wether she interrupted her while she was talking or not. Didn't matter though, Mellard was usually light hearted and would let little things like that pass, "I'm just checking in to let you know that I'm here and wondering if it's okay that I go put Raine away in the stable."
"Of course! Pick any one you like. They should all be open since you're the first one to arrive."
"Thanks Liz!" Murphy replied, happy to get some business done. When there were things to do that made Murphy stressed or nervous, she couldn't be her outgoing self until they were out of the way.
Hopping back into her truck and turning on the ignition , Murphy pulled out of the circle drive and drove to White Fox's stables just as other cars began to drive down the road with new arrivals toward the Lodge.
