The orange light turns off and a green light goes on. Green fluid is leaking out of the pipes as the creatures begin to stir. A view sientists make the pipe empty. The creatures sleeping in the bottom of each slowly move and grumble as they wake and see the world for the first time. They are cleaned, and moved into a separate cage, where their mother waits, angry and defensive, but immediately recognizes her scent on these young creatures.
The three darker coloured youngsters are active during the night, the white one seems to prefer the day. One of the creatures only has the long fingers needed for dragonwings but without skin between them it can't fly.
All three seem to be calm and could make good pets with the proper care and attention.
