I've spoken to Hekomi about this, and to prevent any spam on the rareslist guide, i'm making a new topic for this.


What we are doing?
Making a list of valuable 09's/08's that are worth some but not enough to be on the rareslist yet.

please note; if you think a pet should be on the advent list (Like the royal bobtail) please tell me that on here as well. Eventho this thread is for discussing valuable 08's and 09's i think some should still be added to the lowest advent tire.


All right, discussing is open. Please don't post if you don't know your rarities.

This list is not meant for silly very rares/rares as for example the august lion or the july lioness. Same goes for the shima longtail. Those pets do not belong on the rareslist. Think about white feb or other early 09 rares/veryrares that are hard to get or 08's that are not enough to be advents yet but are rarer then most 09's.

I used to think that the White Feb should be up there, near the bottom, but I haven't seen nearly as much demand for it anymore. e.e - Maybe I'm just not paying attention.

I think the Husky should be a major consideration.

However, what will we be doing with the 08s, Octobers and the like? Placing them as well since most are considered swapable for a lot of the 09s that surely will be considered. Yeah, placing them, leave me alone. I can't read. BI

The octobers and such should be on the top of this list. For sure. The 09's below it. I mean, i wouldn't mind making 2 lists for that but there is a fact that some 09's went very rare before some Octobers did xD

I thought I'd just swing in and post a short list of suggestions. ^_^

• Ying Yang Dog (October 2008)
• White Feb (February 2009) <- figured this was a bit obvious, but thought I'd chuck it in anyways
• Watermelon Dog (October 2008)
• Gold Robot Dog (Janurary 2009)
• 'Spatter' Colour Dog (February 2009 - littermate of white feb, VR)
• Royal Bobtail (November 2008) <- same as white feb

What do we think about the Malk Element cats? Considering just how popular they are and hard to obtain, their demand alone drives them over to the side of most of these listed canines. e.e

I'd personally say just to wait a little longer before DaDwarf chucks them up on the '09 list. Since Malk just retired and all, we may as well wait before the demand settles before kicking it sky high again, since people will think that the '09 list is just like the rares list and will panic about it supposedly moving up to low advent level in time (this is just a doubt I have, since people take the rares list guide very seriously, and I'd like to see how people digest the first few pets on this new list before suggesting/backing up suggestions about pets like the elementals).

I've honestly always seen the Malk elemental cats as slightly uncommon 09 rares with healthy demand ~

i have to agree with fat here, the element cats are not that hard to get at all. Sure, it's a butt to find them but once you've found them they are easy to get, just pay an 09 rare dog and you got em.

Those pets suggestion look good, fat&solloby. I'd say the 08's should be higher then the 09's, especially the very rare ones, with perhaps the royal bob and the ying yang on top?
