"True, but I wouldn't want to burden anyone. Or cause any bit of trouble. I'm quite good at not being a bother, I don't want to ruin that reputation."

"I disagree, but I rather not bother you with the situation." Naomi turned to walk off towards her pack's den. Her tail swaying behind her. As she was going to step into the tree line, she looked over her shoulder, "If you change your mind, you better catch up." With that she jumped into the foliage and trotted off in the opposite direction,

"Was that a riddle of your own, love?" Maverick questioned, before realizing he had spoken to no one. She was gone, and he'd let her go. He lashed his pendulum to the side indifferently, and veered around trotting off in the opposite direction. It had started to drizzle lightly, his audreys retreated back as his pelt grew damp. This was going to be a bad storm, he needed Shelter.

Naomi felt the rain droplets fall onto her back. Looking up she noticed the dark, ashen clouds move over her. In a matter of moments the clear, H2O droplets fell like bullets firing from a gun. Snorting, she let her gaze fall head of her. Fog begain to roll in quickly too, making it harder for her to see.

The tease of company had baited Maverick with the thrill of conversation. Now he felt quite lonely as he navigated his way through the rugged terra firma. Part of him yearned to sprint back to where he'd seen the Fae. Where she'd disappeared to. He cursed himself silently for subjecting himself to this once more as he gridded into an abandoned set of rocks, with enough space for him to squeeze under.
