Hello. To everyone, I'd like to say something. Wolf speak is ugly in my opinion, I never use it. BUMP can be bumping someone's post literally at the bottom of the page, or replying to get it at the top of the board by last reply time. Chatspeak, l33t, or 'text chat' is also ugly. *shudder* But that's all in my opinion.

To Tess and the contributors of the CS roleplay vocabulary topic, I'm using this page and others as a reference for my roleplay rules and vocabulary on another site. I will give credit to CS.

Thanks~ Dew

I'm not sure if this has been said, but OC on fanfiction.net means Original Character. Might be useful.
Hi!! After a long hiatus, I’m back and attempting to knock out a good chunk of my wishlist! Please send trades! I have over 3,000 pets to offer- including older pets and rares!

Also:
g2grp: Got to go from the roleplay. Normally interpreted as they will be right back.
bkrp: Back in roleplay. Come back from somewhere. Normally used with the above.
Q/rp: Quitting roleplay.
I would recommend not using these unless pushed for time.

I totally agree. About two months ago i often used 'u' instead 'you' etc (Well i used correct grammar in rp)..But then i started to use it out side roleplaying theards..Somehow i feel much better, and i practicaly get sick when i see someone using chat/number speak all the time (like; H3y wuz up, h0w r u?) o.0
I can understand it mostly, but really, what if someone is new to forums..so..
U-You
R-Are
Y-Why
K-Short for OK..but seriously, who needs shorter than OK?
RLLY-Really
THNX/TNX-Thanks
IDK-I Dont Know
IKR-I Know Right [More commonly used as question; I Know, Right?]
BRB-Be Right Back
HB-Hurry Back
BK-Back
WB-Welcome Back
TY-Thank You
YW-Your Welcome
YVW-Your Very Welcome
ATM-At The Moment
ASAP-As Soon As Possible
LOL-Laugh Out Loud
ROFL-Roll On Floor Laugh
LMAO-Laugh My Ass Off
~Number speak~
1-i [I]
3-e[E]
4-a[A]
5-s[S]
8-not exactly a letter, but often used instead of 'ate' eg; Sk8[skate], sk8er[skater], h8[hate],h8er[hater]...
9-g[G]
0-o[O]
...I think i know more, but its late here and i cant remember right now >.<
I hate when those are used in roleplaying..and also, when you are too lazy to type a number in words [Like, 2 instead of two..i can understand using it when its big number, like 1.983 etc, but really -2 for two?]
Moving out irl. Wont be on CS for quite a while. Sorryz. 3=
EDITz: Moved out, and ima back to US! FINALLY. AFTER..15 YEARS! 8D BUT, I'm still on cs hiatus 3=

As someone relatively new to RPs, I will say that this topic has been helpful to me in learning some of the terms.
Also, to add my $.02 to the grammar/spelling thing, I must say that I've recently been looking into getting started RPing, but one thing greatly turns me off of most of them I've seen. Bad grammar and spelling in the thread, especially in the first introduction post. Bad spelling and grammar shows, to me, that whoever is writing it doesn't really care about what they are writing or about thw world they are writing in. I like intelligent discussion with characters that really seem to exist in the writer's mind. It gives a strong foundation for the RP to stand and grow upon.

Yes, it would be nice if you could read what people write. =)
Sorry; I am the grammar police. Anyway, I agree, one hundred percent. There are roleplays that would be very good if people could just give some good, well-thought posts with good grammar and spelling. And of course it is even more irksome when people speak with bad grammar. Then again... I live in the boondocks. No one here respects the English Language.
I've found that the grammar problem is better if you choose to do a one-on-one roleplay. I ask for a sample from people who are interested to see if they are at a level that I can endure.

ATTENTION: I have been having a lot of trouble at home lately, thus my time on the internet has been severly limited. I will be catching back up in roleplays as I can, so please be paitent with me.
