Flowergrass goaned then moaned in the nursery.

Sunbeam felt a pit of dread whell up inside her. Berrytail was gone.

Shadowpaw sat down by the freshkill pile. He started to get depressed by how everyone else was so happy with their lover.

Brushkit watched Shadowpaw with wide eyes.

Not quite sure...brushkit was with his/her mentor or a warrior and sunbeam ran away into the forest and tripped on a large root.

Do you mean Shadowpaw was with his mentor because Brushkit is only a kit. And Sunbeam ran away because Berrytail (her crush) died.
