Gage smiled. "I can handle your father," he said with clenched teeth. "You were born from the same family, and are both weaker than I. Though he is still much stronger than you. Still much stronger..." He chuckled to himself. "But now, I'm afraid your time is up." Gage stopped circling around Raja. "This is your last moment of life. Say your prayers." And Gage lunged for Raja. But just as he did so, a glint of light hit his eye. He stopped mid-movement, and turned his head. On the horizon, the sun crawled over the mountains in the distance. At first Gage frowned, but then another smile appeared on his face. A few more hours closer to the complete destruction of this pathetic clan. These weaklings could wait. "Ah, I'm sorry, my friends," Gage said, "but play time is over." His eyes switched between the three. "But don't worry. You'll be seeing me soon." And he stepped through the bushes. A few seconds later, he showed himself only a little bit. "Oh, and don't worry.. There's no need to call me afraid. Because the next time you see me, it'll be during the daytime." He turned his head to Thorn. "Come, Thorn. The Alphas most likely have some orders that we must attend to." And then he was gone.

Gage's paws pressed against the ground hard, as he rushed to return to his Clan. He was, truthfully, a bit scared to be surrounded by so many Mis Clan members with the sun up, but he wasn't too worried. He was gone now, away from them. Unless.. They were following him. Gage shook the thought from his head, and urged himself to not look back. It would only slow him down if they were following him. But anyways, he was close to his clan; three Mist Clan members in the daytime would lose to an entire clan of Shadow Members during the daytime (and vice-versa). But the thought kept returning to his mind. And Gage realized that for the first time in years, he was feeling fear. He only hoped that Thorn was following him.
