I think there should be a filter for your pets. It has every breed of animal on a drop-down list. For instance, If I chose, "Rabbits", then all of the rabbits in that group would appear on top of your other pets.

I believe that's what making separate groups is for, so that you can put the 'rabbits' in a "rabbits" group, and you'd find them together.

I don't really see the purpose of having one species ontop of the others, either, other than to count them. So unfortunately, I don't support -- sorry. P:
