Comanche wrote:I used to think the song "Dude Looks Like A Lady" was saying "Do the Funky Lady."

...I don't know which interpretation is worse. XD

..I thought it was "Do It Like A Lady."

One time, my little sis was talking in the living room.
She said,"there's no need to fear!"

to me it sounded like this,

"Scofolandnerverwarthog."

OMG! That was confusing!

'Dude Look Like a Lady' is Aerosmith, right?

I have so many of these...let's see if I can remember a couple!

When I first met this farmer-kid, he told me this:
"I like to farm."

I interpreted it as this:
"I like to cause famine." (doh! xD)

When I was little, I used to wonder why my grandmother kept a blanket all bunched up of the floor next to the bottom of her front door. So I asked her, and she said, "To keep the drafts out."
The next day, she saw me laying on the floor next to her door, staring at the crack in the door.
"What are you doing?" She asked me.
"I'm looking for the giraffes!"
XD my family still makes fun of me for getting 'drafts' mixed up with 'giraffes'... and expecting tiny giraffes to come inside from under my grandmother's door.
Oh! And on another website, someone posted in the shoutbox, saying something about "Throwing opinions"
I had to post to tell her how, for a few seconds, I thought she said "Throwing onions."

I have my mother’s dreams,
I have my father’s eyes.
You can’t take that from me.
Just go ahead and try.
The Crescent City sleeps
while giants in the sky
preparing to unleash,
let loose a mighty cry.
Can nobody save us?
Will anyone try?
Pyre is burning,
the severance in tight.
And all along, they’re saying:
Help is on the way
(they said, they said)
Help is on the way.
They never came.

XD I remember my friend said that she was watching her brother play a zombie game and then in the afternoon (Because she is chinese she spoke in chinese) and her parents asked her "What did you do today" Then instead of saying "I watched my brother fighting Zombies!" she said "I watched my brother fighting Sushi's!"

It's because the word "Zombie" in chinese is almost the exact same way as you say sushi in chinese. It was so random when she told me XD

last night, my sister was in the bathroom. She needed some more of something.

She said,"I need more!"

but to me, it sounded like this,"I got an afro!"
