okay, out of these two trades a. which one is better and b. how many more advents & rares could be added to make them fair?

They are both immensly unfair to you, unless i've missed something ^^
The first trade could use about two sorbets and a low toxic or so.

I'd cancel both, neither offer enough to be worth considering. If the other person thinks that's ok to offer then they have no clue about the value of the pet they are asking for and probably won't agree to quadrupling their offer (which would still be unfair to you).

Okay, so I'll admit that I sent one of those trades. But it's for a quantity auction. Immortal is asking how many advents and rares we need to add, not sorbets or toxics or anything.

I'm very happy to add to my bid, and I'm definitely going to, but Immortal is asking for feedback so she can advise us on what we need to add.

Very unfair to you, your pet is on the Rares List in the Advent section (Desert Swirl PPS) and is valuable. Their pets are run-of-the-mill 09 rares.

You need to divide those amounts down into advents then.

For a Nonswirl I'd estimate you need 162 advents, but that's based on the assumption that a sorbet is worth 3 balloon dogs, which may be incorrect. If it is only worth 2 balloon dogs, the Nonswirl would be worth 108 advents.

Edit: Here's the math btw.

2x Advent = 1 Grinner
3x Grinner = 1 Blue Rose?
3x Blue Rose = 1 Balloon Dog
2-3 Balloon Dogs = 1 Sorbet?
3x Sorbet = 1 Nonswirl

Unless I counted incorrectly (or made an error with the maths, see above for the figures):
Trade 1 is worth about 25 Advents.
Trade 2 is worth about 10/11 Advents.
Trade 3 is worth about 28 Advents.

Your Nonswirl is worth 100 - 165 Advents, seek advice on which calculation for it is most correct (or if I made another error early on, as you can see errors carry very heavily). I would ask for confirmation of the Nonswirl's Advent value before working out what they need to add. But I think Trade 3 is the best, especailly as the balloon dog is a lot easier to trade off than the speckle rat.

I agree, the third trade is the best out of the far, but still quite a far way from the worth of the non.
I would actually say the non is worth about 100-140 high advents/110-155 mid-advents or 140-170 Advents ^^
Though we need a very experienced mass trader to share some thoughts on it :3

I don't know if this belongs here, but which pet has more demand: a dogtag or a moonswirl? Would it be a wise move to trade my dogtag for a moonswirl? (Of course if I added some of my pets, I was just wondering if it would be a wise move demand wise.)

and i don't think i'll try to get 165 advent for the non-swirl. not many people can afford that.
