Kay gave a disgusted sneer. 'Because you love him, doesn't mean you rub all over him like this!' She thought bitterly. She stopped and looked for lingonberries. She gave up when she saw a stag behind a bush. She turned and waited, although, she grabbed a lemming.

Grain's hackles raised and he shifted all of his strength to his hind legs. He needed it for a strong pounce. Once he had that, all he needed was strong jaws and sharp claws to kill the creature. Simple as that. Years of practice, and he had the pounce perfect. Without help from Wintergreen, he brought down the prey. He felt kind of bad that Wintergreen hadn't been able to help, but it was quite an easy catch anyway.
