Bamboo Fun Tablet

Postby debbie. » Mon May 03, 2010 10:44 am

Ok, first off i have never used a tablet before/dont know much about them.

I was thinking of getting one just to draw with and stuff like that. Does anyone know anything about tablets and what-not?
And if i got the Bamboo Fun would i be able to use it on the CS Oekaki art?

Thanks all for the help. (and for all those out there, i did try to look this up)

You can use the Oekaki with the Bamboo Fun. That's what I have and it works perfectly with it!

I have a Bamboo fun tablet.. they're great.. I've heard some people have problems with theirs breaking, but mine's lasted a few months now and nothings wrong..other then some of the stuff they put on the drawing area (To make it feel more like paper.) came off o__o.. I started seeing weird flakes when I'd wipe if off. (My dogs like to come and lay on it, and they're dirty. XD) I guess it's because I was a little rough with it? Hmm.
if it hasn't broken yet for ME though.. that's usually a good sign...I'm not always careful with my things XD
and yes you can use the tablet for the oekaki.. you can use it to surf the web, like I do sometimes! :]

Of coarse you are able to use the tablet on CS oekaki. You can use them as a mouse as well XD.

Great artists on here like Toastberg use an art tablet ;)

Yep, the FAQ even refers to a certain pen pressure plugin. ;)

That happened to mine, too, now you can see shiny parts where I usually put the picture window in GIMP and where the scroll bar on Internet Explorer is X3

I got an ordinary Bamboo, because it was cheaper, and then GIMP, which is pretty much the same thing as photoshop, but free :P

Thanks again to those who entered in my competition. I'll be off now. Have a nice life out there.
