Vistra ran, her paws snapping out ward as she flew through the tunnels before her. Her "bag" of what she considered rocks violently swayed but didn't dare fall. It was held tightly by the strong and sharp teeth of the Canaan dog. Her fur was streaked with dark grey marks from the dust of the mines clinging to her. Her form was barely recognized as she jumped over diggers, racing deeper into the mines. She skidded to a halt, kicking up a storm of dust which swirled through the dim tunnels that faced her.
A smirk lit Vistra's face before she started to pick up the "rocks" in her teeth, delicately placing them in her bag. She picked up the bag again and started trotting down the Mines again, stopping to pick up the Blue gold found in the rocks. She was quick in the process, get some rocks, drop them in the bag, start moving. Vistra had done this for all of her life, It was almost a habit to race to work in the mornings. Originally it was to avoid getting nipped, now she was just so used to it that she forgot when she was supposed to start working. Sometimes she would wake up while the other dogs were asleep and run into the mines only to find that no one was out there.
Vistra had filled her bag to the point where it took effort to carry the bundle. She placed it on the ground and sat down, yawning. She normally had a lack of sleep.

{ Will finish Maximus' form soon, busy with homework tonight. Oh, and I believe you have Ressi marked as a male. I changed her picture too.--Ressi prodded the dead kangaroo rat she had just killed with a paw. The skinny rodent would have been too fast for her to jump on had she not caught it unawares, standing foolishly only several feet from the mouth of her den while eating away at a cholla pear.
Her den was situated in a shallow depression in the ground surrounded on three sides by some of the smaller cholla, away from the others but not far enough to be left out. The depression allowed her to be unseen unless you were standing close to the edge and the spines of the cacti served as a natural barrier. That forced the others to approach her somewhat directly. She had knocked some of the fruits from the plants on accident.
Now she decided to leave them there as they could encourage possible prey to approach. The rat was a bit too bony for her liking but she couldn't afford to be picky. She closed her jaws around the limp, sand-encrusted body and loped across the reddish, hard-packed ground to the center of camp, where a combination of trampled desert grass and crushed ragweed formed a somewhat comfortable mattress of foliage. She ignored the other dogs sitting there and bit into her rat.
Her mind wandered as she chewed, since eating didn't require much mental power. Like many times before, she wondered how much power she had in this pack. Sure, she was Silhouette's familiar and maybe even his friend, but that would only give her a little of his favor, if any. She didn't think he would appoint her as second-in-command unless she did something fantastic and the surrounding area wasn't giving her many chances to be great. She also didn't want to get her hopes up and therefore had classified the possibility as highly unlikely. Among the other two scouts though she had acquired what could be said as a dominance, but she wanted to become acquainted with Bane, whom she found interesting. She learned he had once participated in the human army (the military was it?) and for once was planning on asking him about it. She guessed he was undergoing a reform with the help of his friend, the red husky, since he seemed a bit unbalanced. As she finished her rat she concluded on letting the matter settle since, from what Silhouette had told her, this pack was still quite new and it didn't quite matter so much now. She carried the remains over to a bare patch of earth and buried them.

- If Loki is Purina's Pup, would she have to be in the mines, or would she still have to stay as a pup in the Blue Skies Pack? cx

⇨ Name: Charlie⇨ Age: Three years⇨ Gender: Male⇨ Ranking: A Harvester in the Mines⇨ Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel⇨ Eye Colour: Deep chocolate brown⇨ Distinctive Markings: Charlie has a single short, slim scar running diagonally across his nose, from being hit in the face by an unexpected falling rock.⇨ General Description: Charlie is short and plump, yet not overweight for his breed; however, his long, matted fur gives him the appearance of looking much plumper than he already is. He is of the Blenheim colouration; his coat is white with several large reddish-brown patches. Despite his rather short, stocky build, Charlie is a surprisingly fast runner, and is quite strong for his size; these qualities, coupled with his optimistic personality, make him an extremely useful Harvester.⇨ History: Charlie was born in the mines, into a litter of only two dogs; himself and his brother, Frankie. However, Frankie wandered off into the mines when he was seven weeks old, on the day when one of the oldest tunnels caved in, and he was never seen afterwards. Most dogs presumed that Frankie had been trapped beneath the rocks and rubble that had been a result of the cave in; however, Charlie stuck firmly to the belief that his brother had been elsewhere in the mine, and had in fact escaped out into the open. His mother would smile at his loud protests, masterfully hiding her sadness as she agreed that Charlie was definitely right, and that one day, they would both go outside to meet Frankie again. Later that month, Charlie had heard a strange noise sounding from outside the mine; curious, he followed the noise, until he reached one of the entrances. A Warrior stopped him from leaving, yet he was close enough to the outside that he could clearly hear the noise. It was a song; lively, bouncy, happy, joyful, optimistic. The tune was forever emblazoned in his mind, and from that day on, that same tune could almost always be heard coming from his direction. None of the other dogs are quite sure where he heard it in the first place; the truth is that he heard it blasting out of a human’s car radio on one of their routine inspections. The years went on, and Charlie went on to become a fine Harvester. Whilst other dogs talked of escaping the mines and living in another pack, Charlie was content with working down beneath the earth. His mother passed away peacefully at the age of eleven, and he thinks about her often, as she was, in his eyes, the most perfect mother a pup could ever have.⇨ Personality: Charlie is a very optimistic dog, almost always choosing to look at the bone as if there’s still half left to eat for later, rather than someone’s come along and eaten half of it so you’ll go hungry again. He can often be seen (or heard) humming or singing the same little tune to himself whilst he goes about his work in the mines, and he has also been caught dancing alone in an empty tunnel whilst singing to himself. Whilst some think this is just a distraction from his work as Harvester, his song fires him up and gives him the energy to work hard and remain optimistic in even the toughest of times.
